The Makita Impact XPS® bits are engineered to last 100X longer than standard impact bits. The Impact Bit Set features precision machined tips, pulse torsion rings, an optimized torsion zone, and unique steel that combines to deliver improved overall performance and bit life. The Impact Bits feature Optimized Torsion Zone geometry facilitates an ideal transfer of impact energy for improved bit life. The bits feature a 12-sided bit collar for use with the Impact XPS® Mag Boost sleeve for added holding power.
The E-01644 set features a unique steel composition that is masterfully engineered for extended life compared to S2 and S6 alloys. The Impact Bits use a uniquely calibrated heat-treating process for added durability. The bits feature a Matte Nickel surface for best-in-class corrosion resistance. The Magnetic Nutsetter features a lobular design that drives along flats to reduce rounding of hex fasteners. The Insert Bit Holder features a two-piece design engineered to allow the Makita torsion technology to fully activate. The Socket Adapter features chamfered edges of the square drive end, allowing for easy installation. The 60 Piece Impact Bit Set includes (2) 1-3/4" Magnetic Nutsetters, (1) 2-3/8" Insert Bit Holder, (46) 1" Insert Bits, (10) 2" Power Bits, (1) 1/4" Socket Adapter.

My go-to set for just about any job. The bits are solid, well labeled, and the transparent case is a good addition to better differentiate from what’s in my other Makita cases.

I do all my maintenance's on my own, and these came in really handy while working on my German car.I mostly bought it for the TX-TXX torx bit's and small extentions.The only thing I wished it had more T30 bits, it only comes with one T30 but plenty of T25's and T27's.All in all it's great impact bit set kit from Makita, I prefer this kit over my older Bosch bit kit, the bits feel to be a bid sturdier for my liking. So far I haven't had any issues, this set also works well with my Wera bit ratchets.

A useful variety of basic bits in common configurations, with a couple extra accessories that are sure to be very handy. Nice finish to help reduce corrosion, something most impact bits lack. Durability and impact resistance are difficult to determine at this early stage. A nice advantage is that this is (unlike so many tools today) not made in PRC. The bits do fit the fasteners properly without excessive freedom of movement, which is an advantage. A good value for the price, given the Makita promo running at the time of purchase.

I initially bought this based on certain reviews. Wow the reviews were absolutely right. The bit holder that comes with this kit is A Class (Do not underestimate the bit holder). Insert the bit and it never comes out! Each bit fits the appropriate screw like a glove and there is no chance of misaligning the head unless you screw it up! It was so good that I ordered another one. It is expensive but it is the BEST!

In line with the Makita brand quality, in a solid container. Each bit is well secured in the box and none are getting loose. Some redundancy in the various bits.

Realizei a compra no dia 17.11 e surpreendentemente chegou no dia 26.11.24, sendo que estava previsto para o dia 24.12.24 por se tratar de uma compra internacional. O produto chegou muito bem embalado e com todas as características de originalidade. Ainda não testei o produto mas sei da sua qualidade. Minha maior insatisfação quando comprei era o prazo muito alongada da entrega, mas devido a antecipação em 29 dias, fiquei entusiasmado para futuras compras internacionais. Recomendo.

First of all, let's talk about the variety. This kit comes with a whopping 60 pieces, which is fantastic because it covers pretty much all the different types of screws and bits I encounter in my projects. Whether it's Phillips, Torx, square, or even hex, this set has got me covered. And the best part is that each piece feels really sturdy and well-made. I've had some bad experiences with cheap, flimsy bits that would snap after just a few uses, but these Makita bits seem like they can take a beating.The impact-resistant design is a total winner. I've used these bits with my impact driver, and they've held up really well. No chipping, no signs of wear and tear even after some heavy-duty use. It's clear that Makita put some serious thought into making these bits durable, and it shows.Another thing I love is the bit holder included in the set. It's got a strong magnetic grip, which is super handy when I'm trying to reach into tight spots or overhead. Plus, it keeps the bits neatly organized, so I don't have to go rummaging through my toolbox every time I need a specific size.I also want to mention the precision fit of the bits. When I attach them to my screws, they fit snugly without any wobbling. This means fewer stripped screws and less frustration for me. Overall it's a nice kit, the case is sturdy and has plenty of options for the most used bits. I dropped the star rating down a notch because using the flat bladed bit on just 2 screws it already has a slight bend, which seems a bit premature considering I had used a single craftsman brand one to install my entire solar system without breakage or bending even though that one wasn't impact rated and I figured I would get an impact rated set with this Makita brand and already get a bend? Doesn't provide much confidence. However it didn't snap so I guess that's something, a bend is better than a catastrophic failure. At least this set isn't very expensive and there are multiple of the same size bits so I can keep going. The variety of bits is nice including long and short bits and extensions and a magnetic head that holds very well.
