I'd never had a binding machine before and was really interested in seeing how this would work and if I could put together something that didn't look as sloppy as a soup sandwich.The directions are super simple and pretty easy to follow. They included material for ten 25-page booklets to give you a chance to get some practice before trying bigger and more expensive projects.It was really satisfying to make my own book and I can see how cool it would be to create larger customized projects to give as gifts or in business for very special proposals, reports, or commemorative gifts.Even as a beginner I was able to put together a book that looks really professional, and very quickly.

this is such an easy to use binding machine. I love how stable the book comes out when you put them together. I would def suggest this for everyone

Binds well enough - make sure you are using the recommended materials - super easy to follow the directions - I am happy with the result

I'm unsure whether this machine is worth it or not. I've never owned one before now. The setup was easy. The machine turns on quickly, and just has three settings to choose from. The instructions seemed a little oversimplified. It would have been nice if it pointed out there is a place on the machine to measure the thickness of your booklet before choosing the setting. The binding covers it comes with are only sized for 20-25 sheets of paper. A variety of sizes would have been nice. I needed to bind together over 105 pages, so I had to order different binding covers, which are very expensive. I found it did not work completely the first time around. The troubleshooting says to change the setting and run it through again. This seemed to break down the glue and open up the binding more. You don't want to have a trial and error situation with this, since the covers are very pricey. I'm waiting until I have a 20-25 page project to bind to determine if it was my cover or the machine that didn't do a good job the first time.

Works well for it's purpose. The supplies aren't cheap but for what I need it will do well.
