After trying to keep the fireplace lit by cleaning the sensor rods on the original ignitor for our 22 year old gas fireplace, I figured I’ll take the chance to replace it. I had to do a bit of research to find the correct replacement. We have the Majestic Vermont Castings DV360 RFN and has the wireless remote control. It’s a little pricey, but a whole lot cheaper then a new valve kit or fireplace.This went in fairly smooth and works like it should. I replaced it last season and it fired right up this season.

Replaced the pilot assembly in my Vermont insert with zero problems. The rf gas valve is no longer available. Glad this was a fairly easy fix.

But not the problem... not sure how to check if it's needed before you find out your valve is shot & not easily replaced. $160 down the drain. Product is as described

This dual thermopile pilot assembly fit my Vermont Castings Stardance perfectly and got the out of commission stove working again.
