The Maitys Thread Wax Conditioner is a great addition to any sewing or crafting kit. It effectively strengthens and smooths thread, reducing tangling and fraying while making hand-sewing much easier. The beeswax is colorless, so it won’t stain fabric, and it provides just the right amount of conditioning without feeling sticky or overly waxy.Pros: Helps prevent thread tangling and frayingEasy to use and applies smoothlyColorless, so it won’t stain fabricComes in a pack of two, making it a good valueCons➖ No cons on this.Overall, this is an excellent product for quilting, embroidery, and general sewing. If you frequently work with thread, this beeswax conditioner is a must-have!

You really want to get these if you are quilting because it keeps your thread from twisting up.

The plastic case around it makes it super easy to use.

This is pretty hard. I'm not sure it even helped with making bracelets. It was hard to run through the plastic holder and it really didn't come off on the thread.

I didn't realize how much I needed this product until I tried it. I started restringing my pearl necklace and the silk thread knotting on me and I'd have keep starting over. The wax made the thread much easier to work with

I make bespoke historical clothing. I need to use beeswax for a lot of tasks. This two-pack works great. Not too dry, not too greasy, so pretty much spot on. And, ZERO visible residue was left on any of the threads, even black (!) so I am very happy. That is really all I care about - the beeswax doing the job and no residue left behind to ruin/stain fabrics/threads. I waxed the button blanks for silk-wrapped death's head buttons, waxed the thread to wind them, and they are holding up just great after wearing at two separate dancing events, so far, and no separation, no residue. You really cannot ask for much more. This was an okay price, it works great, and, most importantly, the client was/is THRILLED. I am assuming the next client will be as well. I only have 8-12 clients a year, so they have to be happy. I will buy this again the next time I need beeswax. But, of course, if you don't know how to use it, you could gunk it all up or not use enough and it won't do the job. As with everything, YMMV, but I have found this to be my new "go to" for beeswax. Cheap and serviceable. Can't beat it.
