I love this. It's so cute and different. My mailbox is embedded in brick with very little room for a flag. I used gorilla glue on the back of it and attached it to the brick. There was not enough room between the top of the mailbox and cement ledge above the box, so I just wedged between the two as far as I could. So, it's slightly off center from the top of the mailbox, but honestly, you don't really even notice. And, it gets the job done. Also, as I said, it's so cute.

Have you ever noticed how hard the metal of a mailbox is? Me either, until I tried to drill a hole! First had to use a small drill, then a larger one, and finally one big enough to put the bolt through. Trial and error, but it looks great and works ok, at least until the wind catches it and it partially opens. But if your mailbox is completely surrounded by bricks, it is the best solution to le the mail person know, “You’ve got mail”!

We often have time sensitive mail that we would like to have picked up, but it was always a hit or miss with what mail man/woman was delivering the mail, if they would actually take the outgoing mail with them or just leave it in the mailbox. Since we had this installed, there is no more ignoring of our outgoing mail, so it works perfectly. I saw a lot of feedback on the (lack of) quality of the item, but I disagree. It is great quality, sturdy and it actually looks nice on the mail box. It comes with 2 screws if you are willing to drill 2 holes in your mailbox door, but we decided to go for strong double sided tape and that works perfect (even with our mailbox door not being completely flush). So if you want to get the attention of the mailman, this is the perfect tool.

This postal flag only opens one way but can be read from any direction. I live in a high wind area. The fact that the "MAIL" lettering is hollowed out lets the wind flow right through it. It has a stop type clipping when open too. It does not leak rain/snow into the box. Very good and does the job. I used a drill bit to make a pilot hole to secure it in place.

Installed my Mailbox Flag today. Wasn't expecting it to be 3D printed, but what an innovative idea! I work for an engineering firm that has a few 3D printers and understand the time that goes into printing these. The cost of the machine plus the hours of print time, I think it's well worth the price. What an innovative idea for those who don't want a traditional mailbox flag drilled onto the brick mortar. See photos of the finished product. Think it looks great and hope it withstands Texas weather! I don't mail much and usage will be low, but hopefully it lasts. Very pleased with the finished product, and not having to drill into my brick mortar was a plus for me.

I have a mailbox enclosed in a brick monument, and needed a flag solution for outgoing mail. This works perfectly and was easy to mount. I would say it's a bit expensive for something that was 3D printed and had to be cleaned up a bit when I received it. (there were still a lot of plastic "threads" on it from the printing process). Otherwise a great item.
