Bought this for the rear main seal on my 4.0L for SOHC engine and it leaked right away. Not sure why it has an internal sleeve but if you don't use it, it's way to large for the journal. Is it a shaft saver? Just wanted a regular factory seal so it may be my fault.

This seal came with the repair sleeve which I did not want.
