Used this on the back of restaurant order pads to easily stick to a resting place when not in use. Worked well for that out and easier than cutting a magnet strip from a roll.

I got this to use with Tonies figures. My daughter has a lot of them and we ran out of space to store them on the shelves. The figures have a magetic base and I thought this magetic tape would work with these. Well it works perfectly. But I do have to be careful putting lighter figures on it. If they're bigger and heavier then it won't work. However, the majority are pretty light so it works perfectly. Highly recommended for lighter item's!

The kind of adhesive magnetic tape that comes in rolls can be pretty disappointing. I've found they are usually effective at holding up paper, but not much else. These flat magnetic tiles are another story. They are plenty strong enough to hold up many items. I stuck these on a couple of electronic note-pads we had, and now the family can put them securely up on the refrigerator for keeping shopping lists and such. I also have plans to use them in a dark clothes closet, to stick up a rechargeable LED light bar; the magnetic option will allow me to pull it back out whenever it needs recharging. Be aware that they do have some thickness -- a couple of mm. Hardly a deal-breaker. And if you don't need the full size for your application, you can cut them into smaller sections using a stout pair of scissors.

I’m really impressed with the quality. While it turned out to be a bit thicker than I initially expected (my fault for not reading the description carefully), I'm still so impressed! The adhesive is strong, and the magnets themselves are very reliable. It definitely feels like a high-quality material. Though it doesn't work for the original purpose I had in mind (I need thinner strips haha), I'm still keeping it and think it can be used elsewhere. I’d definitely make another purchase if I need more in the future.

I got these for a rather original use. I converted my wood-burning fireplace to electric logs and duct-taped together thick acoustic foam tiles to make ceiling insulation panels in there to stop losing room heat up the chimney. There are some small magnets sticking it to the closed metal damper but after a while, two seams opened up at the front edge and were dropping down. The tape wasn’t holding and I needed more magnets there too.These 2x4” pieces worked perfectly to both close the open seam AND stick the foam edges to the metal. Perfect solution for me and I didn’t need to pull the insulation down to do it. The logs have a mild warm air blower out front and that is probably what caused the tape to give, but the 3M adhesive on these magnets is holding strong.They are heavy duty yet also could be cut into any shape needed, i.e. to make quality fridge magnets.

I used these to attach a plastic outdoor sign to a metal door. They worked great. Very solid. Time will tell if hot sun will make the adhesive separate.

I was not expecting neodymium magnet strength with these, and they certainly are not anywhere close. These are the same kinds of magnets used to print business cards on.I used them to add some stability to a top-heavy soap dispenser that sits next to the kitchen sink. They are easy enough to cut with a pair of kitchen scissors and the adhesive seems adequate. Of course this method will only work with a cast iron sink.So long as you understand the limitations of this product and what it is actually capable of doing, then it can be useful to have.
