This is so much easier to use than the pin that comes standard with the John Deere accessories. Easier to get in, out, and find when it falls in the yard.

I was a bit skeptical when I bought this, but it turns out to be a nice product. Pretty strong magnet, not super strong, but strong enough not to come loose while driving on bumpy lawn. It came with a cotter pin, but it really isn't necessary. Makes it really easy to just drop in and pull out.

I spent years attaching my garden cart to my riding mower with a hitch pin that required a cotter pin. What a pain! Then I discovered this magnetic pin and it’s made hooking up my garden cart so much easier. It’s heavy and sturdy and the magnet is strong. It was a great value. I could not be happier!

I really like how easy my King Pin quick-connect hitch pin was to use but it broke way too soon on me. I have tried using hitch pins without the cotter pin but found the hitch pin falls out, so I figued give this one a try. So far so good. Magnet is very strong, which is good for keeping it in but also makes it harder to pull out. That is something I am willing to deal with to get a product that looks like it will last forever.FYI - Mine measured 2.977" long and 0.49" in diameter and did not come with a cotter pin. In the pictures they say cotter pin is not included but in the features they say 'Have magnet and cotter pins, 2 choose", so just wanted to make sure you know it does not include the pin.
