This item works as advertised, however the magnet cold be stronger. A slight knock will dislodge the bits.

I am a dental tech and I got this to hold my burs....the bigger ones fall off easily but for the smaller hand piece burs its fine.

I really should have returned this, but got distracted and now it's too late. Hopefully this review and picture will give you enough information to know that this product is a waste. You would think that the red button makes it spin, no it's stuck in one position. You have to pick it up by the red button and "spin" it with your hand. As you can see from my picture the burs do not stay on, they slide down, they slide off. I don't know how the larger burs they show in the product photo actually stay on if these small burs don't!

The bits slide down til the hit the bur or whatever ison the end (or til they hit the table).
