Words can't describe how infuriating this product is. The details clearly state it'll hold a a standard dial indicator with a 9.5mm stem. Nope. Not even close. So, maybe you can still clamp a dial indicator using the hole on the back plate. That's a "no" as well. There is simply no configuration using the provided parts that will allow you to secure a common dial indicator.So let's recap, they say it offers two ways to secure your dial indicator. How many of these ways work? NONE.This is the biggest piece of trash I've ever bought on Amazon. And that is really saying something.Included picture illustrates that the through hole that's supposed to secure the stem of the indicator is significantly too small.I hope this brand goes out of business.

This works with my dial indicators and is nice to have an additional base mount. It's not as strong of a magnetic force as some of the others, but it gets the job done. Overall, for the price, it is a good deal at the time of this review.

Overall a nice mag base not as nice as a Starrett of course but you get what you pay for it’s functional, and does the job done.The magnet, though is not quite as strong again as a Starrett.

I have a 30+ year old magnetic base that is as strong (or possibly stronger) as this Qnkaa Magnetic Base. I bought it because for some applications I need a really strong magnetic base and this Qnkaa Magnetic Base is unfortunately not it even though it states that it is a strong magnet.I like the rest of the unit so I'm not going to bother returning it, instead I will find another way to solve my problem of securely mounting a dial indicator setup.

Wonderful base: the magnet is stronger than my other, older bases. The adjust on the last metal rod "leg" is sooo helpful when laying a dial test indicator (flipper tip) lightly onto a work piece to help center it in a 4 jaw chuck.
