I bought this little micro stereo for my brother for his birthday he lives in a small studio apartment so he didn't really need anything big that takes up a lot of space for a shelf unit this Magnavox CD player packs a great punch in a small package it'll give him everything he needs such as being able to play his CDs, play Bluetooth and it will also play USB flash drives and I guess all new modern radios today only comes with FM radio they don't make them with am radios anymore I guess it's a thing of the past even that they're still some AM stations available but anyways it's a great little micro stereo that don't take up hardly any space for small space that you don't have a whole lot of room for it works. Amazon had great prices that made it work for small spaces and my brother is very happy to get one. So if you're looking for a decent stereo that does not break the bank and does not take up a whole lot of space check this magnet box stereo out on Amazon.

This mini system works like a charm. It is small for homes with little space. Although its material does not seem very strong, it is of good quality. It sounds perfect, and loud if you want, just enough for a home. It has a CD player, FM radio, USB mp3, and Bluetooth connection. It pairs perfectly with any cell phone. Recommended

The sound is tremendous! Easy functionability. Nice compact size. Strong speakers. CDs play so much better.Unfortunately I live in an area with really bad radio reception, so I don't get many FM stations in - no matter what device I am using!I also don't own a Bluetooth device so I can't really comment on that function.All in all I am very happy with the system!

I had high hopes for this attractive, compact CD player with an essential remote control. At this price, I was not expecting the sound quality of a more expensive system with larger, perhaps multiple speakers in each of the two speaker enclosures. The system was extremely simple to set up and compact enough to place in a convenient open bookcase across from my recliner. I was looking forward to relaxing to enjoyable music and easily adjusting volume and sound quality with the convenient remote.My first listening experience with the new system included learning the capabilities of the remote. That went well. Then I began to listen to a new CD with Roy Orbison and a full orchestra. I could not believe how dull and colorless the limited sound volume was. I assumed I had not utilized the remote adjustments properly and spent several minutes experimenting in order to obtain sound that I could actually listen to. Nothing I did came close to achieving my objective. I was extremely disappointed.As a check of my perceptions, I dug out an older Sony boombox and tried the same CD. The contrast was amazing, but not terribly surprising. Without any adjustments other than volume, the Sony sound was rich and pleasing at any volume level. The only thing missing was the important remote. That same Sony box is still available from Amazon, but no remote is available.I am about to box up the Magnavox and give it anonymously to anyone who wants it. The gift will be anonymous because I don't wish it to be associated with me when the new owner puts it to use the first time. Perhaps they will simply trash it.

Quite pleased. Easy to assemble, nice tone, top loader is convenient, Bluetooth is handy. Good package for the money.

This little thing is outstanding. It was purchased as a Christmas gift for my elderly parents after my mother talked longingly about being able to listen to CDs (they have accumulated a bunch over the years).My search for something that two people who find cell phones to be a challenge to operate was a lot harder than I expected, and I eventually found this little guy.My criteria was pretty easy: I needed something with physical, tactile buttons that were easy to see, a decent sound quality, and a small footprint for the amount of space they had.Setting it up out of the box was super simple, and I didn't even need to really open the manual. I had them playing a CD in about 5 minutes.The sound quality is very good for the size of the speakers, and really fills their cavernous living room with audio. Without jacking with the EQ settings, the bass response is decent and overall the balance of the EQ bands is stellar.The volume knob is hard to miss, and the physical controls are easy and logical to use.The only complaint I have is the length of the speaker cables that come with it, but whatever.As others have mentioned, the remote is unnecessarily complicated, so I ended up just hiding it in a drawer.I can not attest to the Bluetooth connectivity, since it is simply something that will never be used in this situation.A month later, and my mother has figured out how to listen to NPR on the radio, then switch back to listen to CDs (without a phone call to me!) and my father can't stop talking about how much joy this purchase has brought to them. Total win.If you are looking for a simple, economical cd player/radio with a small footprint, this is perfect. Just lose the remote.
