I can fit my Manfrotto Tripod with ballhead and my Manfrotto Monopod in the case. The mono is older thicker style one, not one of the skinny ones of the new generation, but it works. The two pieces are nicely fit in there and its a good little back. Room to store some batteries or maybe triggers since on a pod is when you use them the most. I also threw extra head adapter in there so I always know where they are. Its a nice roomy bag, easy to work, I can see it lasting a long time.

I'm a little disappointed. I had hoped to use this bag for light stands, but it's shorter than any light stand I own. It's such a perfect design other than that, so it's really too bad. The inside has separate compartments where you could conceivably put separate light stands and keep them from rubbing against one another. There's padding on the outside to protect them in transit. Unfortunately, I just can't imagine a situation where photographers would be carrying light stands this short, except potentially one for the backdrop. And sure, I could use this for tripods and monopods, but I'd never be carrying this many of them at the same time, so there are easier and lighter ways to do that. I just can't find the usefulness of this bag, but it's great quality if it's what you're looking for.

I Was pleasantly surprised when I received this magic line tripod carrying case. It seems very well built, and well thought out. I especially like the external pockets. It’s always nice to have extra pockets when you’re out on a shoot. It has nice pockets for the tripods to go into so they don’t get scratched and bang around. It’ll be nice to be able to carry three tripods in one bag along with some other gear as opposed to carrying three separate bags and then on another bag for my gear. If you’re on the move and you need someplace to put your tripods and some other stuff, this is the way to go. Highly recommended.

Review for: "MagicLine Tripod Carrying Case Bag 33.5x7.9x7.9inch, with 2 Outer Pockets+1 Inner Pocket+3 Inner Compartments, Padded Carry Case for Light Stands,Mic Stands,Tripods,Monopods"Brand: MagicLineFirst look: The MagicLine Tripod/Stand Padded Bag came in a box (32.3 cm x 13.8 cm x 31 cm). The bag has an outer zippered pocket on each side, each about 31.5 cm x 16.5 cm. The main pocket has a red double-zipper about 30" (76 cm) long goes all the way around the end piece to allow you to grab the tripod or stands just from the end. Inside are 3 open pouches that can keep stands separated, and another zippered pocket about 31 cm x 11 cm. There are two carrying handles on the top that attach together with Velcro, and the adjustable shoulder strap attaches to the bottom side of the bag.Opinion: The bag is quite sturdy and nicely padded. The outside material seems well-made and strong, but the inside lining material is thinner and I'm not sure how well it will hold up to regular use. I like the extra zippered pockets to carry my light meter and cables. Unfortunately the bag does not fit my 33 1/4" (84.5 cm) Manfrotto #029 tripod as it is not long enough or wide enough for the 3-way-head which is 11" (28 cm) across. The listing says the bag is 33.5 x 7.9" x 7.9" which is correct, so be sure to measure your tripod's length AND width before purchase. It fit my two 27 1/4" (69 cm) light stands and umbrella with lots of room to spare.

I was quite impressed with this tripod case option from brand MAGICLINE, and found that everything was very high quality and can safely carry my lighting and other equipment with no worry. The zippers are smooth and fast, and the bag comes with both a handle and a strap on either side, so the bag is altogether easy to use which is a bonus if you have gloved hands out in the cold weather. The bag was also substantially more padded than I anticipated, and offered multiple inner liners for different tools of the trade, as well as an outer pocket and an open-zip style top, and I am grateful to know it will undoubtedly keep my gear of choice protected. What matters is that none of my tools are damaged during travel to events or sessions, and this bag will do that with confidence.I chose the black/red variety in the 33.5 x 7.9 x 7.9 inches size. I am unsure if the bag comes in alternate colours from the MAGICLINE brand, but they do offer a variety of sizes. Whatever the case, this one works just fine for me. 5 stars.

This MagicLine Tripod Carrying Case is very well made. I love the black with red zipper and how the zipper goes up and then around in a circle at the top. There are two good sized zippered pockets on the side for accessories. Everything feels very well padded and protected. The strap options are nice, both are necessary at different times. The outer fabric is strong and sturdy. Inside, there is a VERY heavy duty material that is tacked down in three pleats for separating tripods. BUT, it is sewn to a lining fabric I do not like. That type of lining is brittle and can rip. Hopefully it will withstand the stress of three tripods and that heavy material.I got this for my one little tripod. It is dwarfed in this bag. Mine goes from the bottom of the bag and ends at the far end of that side pocket. This bag will carry a lot of stuff.I definitely recommend it and just hope that lining proves me wrong.

Very well made tripod carrying case. The fabric is nice and thick as well as tough. The zippers slide easily and there is alot of room for all kinds of different size tripods. It even has a good size zippered side pouch. Win WIn.

Ever tried stuffing your tripods into a bag that just doesn’t want to cooperate? Yeah, we’ve all been there. But the MagicLine Tripod Carrying Case? Game changer. This bag just makes sense—a top-opening design means no more yanking your tripods out like you're pulling Excalibur from a stone. The inner compartments keep everything in place (because tripods + light stands + mic stands = chaos without organization). And the extra pockets? Perfect for all the little essentials like quick release plates, cables, and magic arms.Durability? ✅ Water-repellent, shockproof, and foam-padded. Your gear is staying safe no matter where you go. Plus, the padded shoulder strap and handle make carrying it a breeze—whether you’re heading to a shoot or just stashing your gear neatly at home.Bottom line? If you’re looking for a smart, sturdy, and ridiculously convenient way to store and carry your tripods or light stands, this is it. Five stars. No notes.

I like MagicLine products and own several of their hard cases for tripods and light stands.I ordered this tripod bag in the hopes I could enjoy the convenience of simply opening the rounded end of the bag and sliding my tripod down in it. Unfortunately, that doesn't work because this bag was primarily designed to hold three light stands in individual sections within the bag and when you try to insert a tripod (not a light stand) from the top, the material from the stitched-in individual compartments gets in the way and prevents the tripod from going down into the bag.Sure, you can fully open the bag and lay your tripod on top of the compartments; you just can't insert a tripod from the end like I had hoped. As for carrying light stands, the case is excellent with plenty of padding between the inner and outer layers to protect its contents plus two zippered pockets on the outside and a small one on the inside for some accessories. The bag can hold three smaller light stands with ease and even squeeze in a fourth one if needed. The bag isn't tall enough to fit my professional light stands though but MagicLine does sell a taller bag exactly like this one to accommodate taller stands. Measure the height of your stands so you order the correct one. It's a professional bag built for professionals and perfect for carrying around town where the weight or cost of a hard case isn't warranted.

I am using the Magic line padded case to carry tube light and stands. It has been a very welcomed addition to my kit. This case has helped me combine three different cases. The case comes with sleeves inside. It can protect tube lights or tripos during transport. I really like that the case itself opens up to an almost completely open case to be able to load it up. Look at my photos. It come with additional side storge with zippers that I use to store brackets, clips and mounts. Everything fits nicely in one case. The nylon webbing goes around the entire case with extra added support. The shoulder strap can is able to carry all the weight without any issues. The handle is handy when you are loading it in the back of the truck or on a dolly. This is a very well-made padded case with strong stitching and designed for strength.

This is the second MagicLine bag of this design that I have and I feel that they are of pretty outstanding quality. The material is heavy and the walls are well padded. I have found the red zippers and trim to actually be functional as well as decorative because it helps me find the zippers and carrying handle in low light conditions. The bag's zipper design that allows either side- or end-entry is actually quite brilliant, and I end up using both depending on the circumstances.Until now I haven't used the bag's internal dividers, but they are there if you carry separate items that you don't want to rub against each other. In my existing bag I only carry a single tripod with an all-sky camera attached to the top, so I tend to use the side entry most but not all of of the time. However with this new bag I will be carrying items that I do want to keep separated so I will likely use the end entry and the dividers more often. The outside zippered bags add external storage volume and don't impinge on the internal tripod space. There is a zippered inside pocket for thin items as well. The shoulder strap is detachable. This is a well-made heavy-duty and very functional bag that has a distinctive look compared to most solid black bags. It's a quality equipment bag that I think is fairly priced.
