I used this for a 500 watt mono amp with 4 gauge crutchfield power wire. You take the 8 gauge inserts out of the wire terminals and use an allen wrench to tighten down on your wire. My amps warranty is only valid with a single 60 amp fuse so this worked perfect. I think I used an M4 bolt to install it using the pre-drilled holes and the cover stays on tightly to keep it dry.

This fuse holder is a win-win great fuse solution, using (my 50 amp) min-anl fuses, the Magic-Source ANL connection wiring blocks are ALWAYS COLD to the touch when passing 40 amps 12v DC. In comparison, other-branded "MAXI" fuse holders (50 amp fuses on the very same 40 amp charging circuit), two of them passing just 30-40 amps were HOT/impossible to touch and horribly failed - Good thing I found them early before a fire... melting the MAXI fuse's holder and MAXI fuse's plastic itself (but NOT the fuse)! Do yourself a much safer favor - I found this an impressive and great fusing solution - will be replacing all previous fuse blocks with this one!

Headline says it all: coper block and it comes with a fuse.Only drawback for me is that I needed the cables to come out the bottom(s) and not the ends as I'm tight on space. JL makes one that has the blocks swivel 90 degrees and I can point them downward, but it's only available in full-ANL size and at a MUCH higher price point

Heavy duty in a small size. Only issue I have is that the spacer was very difficult to get out. After trying to pry it out I realized that backing out the top bolt for the fuse allowed me to wiggle it out. I guess the top bolt bolt went through the housing and pinched the spacer in. Otherwise looks solid
