Right off the bat, the most surprising thing about this device is how crisp and bright the screen is. It is undoubtedly brighter and better looking than Garmin 530 and 830 devices that I have and it costs fraction of those devices. The initial setup is easy but not the most intuitive. The OneLapFit app isn't the most user friendly app and has issues mostly stemming from Chinese to English translation e.g. "update data to device" instead of "sync" and some other regularly needed settings hidden somewhere deep. Honestly, the app to control to this device is the lowest point of the experience with it and most disappointing that this could easily been the king of the GPS devices at this price.Back to the device, I was able to pair my Garmin Varia with it. I did notice that the Varia is much more "active" on Garmin GPS devices but it does work for the most part on Magene too.Pairing various speed/cadence sensors is no issue either. I managed to pair and use Garmin, Wahoo, Magene and other random speed sensors with it.The battery life is comparable to Garmin 830 and so is the touch capability. In fact, I feel the touch sensitivity is better than that of Garmin's.Overall, I can't find any faults with the device itself. Its the app and pairing with the phone that is problematic. The app keeps losing connection to my phone and there is no easy way to reconnect an already paired phone. The app keeps saying device not found.Easy 4/5 stars if you can live with the app.

The Magene C506 is a great bike computer that's made my rides much smoother. The touchscreen is bright and easy to read, even in sunlight, and navigation is simple. It connects quickly to sync data, which is cool. Battery life could be better for longer rides, but it's not a dealbreaker. The interface feels modern and responsive. Overall, it's reliable and does what I need without fuss. If you want something straightforward for tracking rides and staying on course, this is a solid choice.

Well I'm impressed! I've not ridden yet but from what I've seen so far I'm very impressed! Very easy to set up! , the screen is small but really good brightness and very visible. All sensors link straight away but really fiddly to fit if you have fat fingers hahahaha. It's certainly not a garmin killer but is does pack a punch. Colour screen is clear, menu is really good!Took ages to download the required app and then update but after its a breeze!. Links to strava no problem, you can re upload previous rides and follow them over and over! And you can map out routes and upload them ( not tried this yet)Please be aware its not a garmin or wahoo so you get what you pay for but it's what you get I'm impressed with! It's perfect for casuals etc! Its does everything you need it to do and more!! Recommend. I hope the issues or lacks it does has will be updated in later updates! But I like it.

Since you have to have your phone with you for this to operate most features, why not just use your phone? This C506 is fine on its own if all you want is speed and location but if you want more you'll have to pay for it. There are speed censors, cadence sensors, power meter, smart trainer, radar tail light, smart tail light, electronic shifting and heart rate monitor. These things are great options for the competitive cyclist. I however am not. I ride a Catrike Speed and not for competition. The equality of the build is excellent. The screen is difficult to read in full sunlight but not impossible. The menus and app allow for a low of customisation. It can be connected to your home wifi in order to upload your stats. Battery life is very good. Do your homework before buying. The value is good but you may be better off using your smart phone and watch as a hub for attachments hub for attachments.

This compact bike computer from Magene is a nice option for those on the go (pun absolutely intended). The device arrived in attractive packaging that kept it secure. It was fairly easy to set up and prepare for use. The only con of sorts is the smaller screen, although I knew it going in. This is a well-constructed and sturdy item. It appears to be of a high quality. I've now used this on both bicycles and motorcycles with no issues. I wasn't sure I needed this, but after watching several videos, decided to give it a shot. I'm glad that I did.All in all, I'm pleased with this bike computer. Should my experience with it change in the future, the review will be updated.

It simply doesn't do anything that I can't do with my smartphone and yet, it requires your smartphone to work at all. The instructions were extremely vague and incomplete and the mounting design is worthless to me. Get an app for your phone, it's easier.

I have no complaints so far. Definitely a steal for the price. I’ll update this review if needed. Hopefully I won’t need to.
