We got rid of our cats old tower that had a scratcher built into it and found this alternative. It’s small enough that it fits in our living room and isn’t a distraction, but still a cute addition. The cats love the scratch post, but haven’t played with the ball on string yet.

Wow, this product is adorable AND my cat absolutely loves it! It was extremely easy to assemble and the quality is top notch. My cat loves scratching this instead of my couch now (thank god).

Wanted something for my 2 scratchy cats that I could keep in the living room, didn't make a mess and matched the decor. This fits the bill. My cats use it all the time, it's not too big, and it has held up pretty well! It was also very easy to assemble.

[EDIT] This was supposed to be 4 stars, so I've fixed that. Also, the cats seem to like this. I saw one sleeping on it the other day. In fact, she's resting on it, right now. No one's gotten stuck on it again, so I guess it was just a fluke.[EDIT]I bought this to stop my cats from scratching up the furniture. One of my cats has a habit of drinking water from the water fountain and then casually walking straight to the couch and scratching the side. So I bought this cactus. At first, I thought it was great. All the scratching of the chair stopped in favor of scratching this. However, every time my cats scratch this thing, it moves around. Why in the world would they not make the base heavy enough so this wouldn't happen? Today, one of my cats got stuck on it, because she couldn't get her claw out. I've never seen that happen on the cat scratcher on the tree, so make of that what you will.

Super cute but could have sturdier base. In retrospect, I should have gotten a taller post for my cat because she likes to really stretch out on her posts and the post part of this is pretty short. Also, the base is not wide enough and she can tip it over fairly easy. However, she kind of figured that out pretty quick so she doesn't use it very aggressively.

Great for a kitten or young teenage cat. Even for a 7 lb cat it was a little short but she still loved scratching it. Look wise it's adorable. Decently stable but there were a few close calls where it almost toppled. The very top is like a spongy stuffed animal type thing which was funny as the cat liked biting it.

but really, my cat couldn't care less - this was really for my own enjoyment, pretty sure my cat would be happy with a cardboard box. I LOVE this cat scratcher though, its a good quality one and looks fantastic in my lounge
