This cord had the perfect twist and took dye perfectly. Easy to work with and soft on the hands.

I tried my hand at macrame, I’m below mediocre, I guess it comes with practice, because I have the patience (when I have time). Not knowing anything going into it, I bought a fairly thick rope, too thick for my needs, but I was able to easily separate it and use it.Should I have more projects that require this type of rope, I will be purchasing this brand again.

It would have been rolled, as shown in the picture. Very difficult to untie. It take lots of time to start a project.

This is a good amount of macrame for the string. It also doesn’t tend to have any imperfections. I’ve bought many over the last year. I will buy again.

Use this product for sewing rope coasters and the product is fantastic quality. Also I was paying $10 at Michael’s for 23 yards. This is 175 yards. I’m on my second spool it’s that good!

Good quality cord. Made this beautiful bag with it. Only thing is it didn't come wrapped up in a ball or around a core, it was open, so took a while to manage it.

I am a beginner to macrame and bought this to begin experimenting with projects- I found it very soft and easy to use at 3 mm. It is a good size in general and great to start out with as you can see some of my beginner trial projects in the photos! I would recommend taping the ends of the string when working as it can fray some.

Rope was exactly as in picture, only thing is it was not coiled around a reel (don't know what you call it).But it wasn't tangled either as it was neatly wound and tied.

First time buyer. Quality looks good, just not impressed how it came in the box.

I’ve ordered this cord multiple times and love it. Despite the description, the cord actually measures 3mm. It dyes well and is soft and durable. The reel I just ordered came in and as I started to use it, the cord was frayed in multiple spots causing me to waste a lot of it. I cannot find a contact email for the company and cannot do a return as I’ve already used half the reel. The fraying is getting worse the more cord I unravel so I just need a replacement. Other than this issue every other reel I’ve gotten has been perfect so it’s not a bad product. I think I just got a bad reel.

This roll is a lot larger than I imagined it would be which is awesome! I have to admit I am brand new to macrame but not new to crafts. I have always loved making friendship bracelets so as soon as a friend said this was very similar I was immediately interested. I wasnt sure where to get a large dowl that would be cheap so I went to my local dollar store and grabbed a toilet plunger and unscrewed the plastic plunger part. It works perfect as a base to start working from. The macrame cord is soft and wasy to work with, being a newbie that helps. There are a ton of patterns online to make some really cool things. I am happy I ordered this large roll as it could last me atleast 2 maybe 3 projects depending on the detail. When this runs out I would order again.

The last 3mm macrame cord I bought was out of stock so I bought this as a replacement based on reviews. It is definitely smaller than 3mm so you'll be using more cord for your projects. It also has pretty frequent imperfections where it looks like the rope stopped and they somehow connected a new rope and there are a lot of frayed portions throughout. I haven't had any issues with the rope breaking in these areas on my completed projects (mainly macrame plant hangers) and I've just used scissors to clean up the frayed portions. The finished projects always look great so it does the job! I just wish it was true to size and had more consistent quality control.
