This bag will definitely do the trick but it was as pretty tight fit using a rotopod on my mixer. The rotopod raises the back end of the mixer slightly and that slight amount really pushes the dimensions of the bag. It fits, but it's tight.

I'm not a fan of Mackie Mixers (any Mackie I've ever used has at least two dead channels), but I needed a bag for my Digi 002 console for ProTools. I do a lot of on-site music production, and I needed something to protect my mixer. I didn't want to drop a couple hundred for an ATA case, and I found that the original DigiDesign bags were discontinued.This thing holds my Digi002 perfectly! It's a solid bag that protects well. I like it better than my Gator Case for my Yamaha mixer!It also has a large zipper pocket in the front that can hold cables, notebooks, or even a 15" laptop.Protect your gear. Buy this bag.

The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because of the price. It was too expensive for me. I really like the padding on the inside and the zippers and casing are strong.

The bag is great. Everything is as promised. A must have companion to the 1604VLZ Pro if you're needing to move it around like me.
