This product worked for my needs. It's just a bit tricky to cut & fit arched window. Yes, I would recommend it.

Arrived in good shape, very lightweight, installed as all shades do (self adhesive). In their defense I live in Florida, but on day 1 of direct sunlight all three flopped over and would no longer stand. Even after securing the top of the arch, they still continued to deform. Returned, these are thin junk. Pay the few extra dollars and get cellulose shades, your welcome.

A no brainer to put in the window but a bear to cut to size. Make sure you measure accurately. I used a box cutter and it was still hard to cut. Took a while. I also tried to use it without the plastic base because I didn't quite see the reason since there were no instructions included. I see now that the plastic base keeps the blind from toppling over. Use it.

Purchased these in April and didn't install until July. Procrastination because I was afraid I'd find a way to mess this up. From start to finish, it took a total of 10 minutes to do 2 windows. Why did I wait?! They look great, and due to being cut to measurement, they look custom. The semi-circle windows I have offer anything but privacy for the nearby neighborhoods. Installed these and was blown away by not just how easy it was, but how great they look after.Tools needed for my job: 4 rubber bands (2 thinner ones at the ends of the blinds, 2 thicker ones in the middle of the blinds while measuring, marking and cutting), a cutting board (kitchen) to cut these on, a sharp kitchen knife (too afraid to use a box cutter; not a serrated knife, or it might jump off track and cut you on the way back (had 2 close calls and didn't feel like a trip to the ER)), and a small step ladder. Took 60 seconds to measure the window (so true to measure twice), then 60 seconds to cut them, then go to the window, peel off the tape, get on the step ladder, and install in 30 seconds.(seriously kicking myself for not having installed these sooner)

Daughter lives in AZ and the space room we stay at while visiting get a lot of direct sunlight. These shade were a perfect fit for the arc shape too to the window a the long thin windows. It doesn’t block the sunlight completely but it reduces quite a bit. Plus she already had blinds. That room is not long getting bake throughout the day, much cooler.
