For the price, this mesh bag is nearly perfect ($10 is what I think I paid but it’s $7 on sale now). I have the $75 Moncheri sling too - the Moncheri was sold out so I searched for something similar and happily found this. The material on this bag is not as nice as the Moncheri but it serves the same purpose - a super light breathable bag that you can tuck in your purse or leave in the car etc. The Moncheri has a nice small zipper pocket that holds poop bags, an iPhone charger, cable and lip gloss - this one has a small pocket too but it’s an open pocket so things slide out. That said, it’s a problem that a shoe lace can solve given it is such a low price.Because it’s mesh my Pomeranian can see out whether she’s sitting up or curled up resting after a long day. I’ve fostered many small breeds - in my experience, sling bags work really well for Pom’s and other “short bodied” dogs that like to sit up and watch where they are going. Shih Tsu’s and Dauchounds are likely better off in a more traditional carrier with a long bottom - their dimensions don’t really work well in a sling (they flop over). My usual issue is that 95% of dog carriers assume that the dog wants to lay down - they nearly all try to solve the same problem. My dogs would only lay down on a long flight and it’s very hard to find bags where my 4 lb (and 7 lb dog) don’t slide to one side when in a traditional carrier alone. My dogs like this bag because they enjoy sitting up while actively watching the view.When I take both dogs out shopping, I use two of these. Each dog/sling goes to the opposite hip so that their weight feels balanced for me - they both feel hugged and feel like they are the number one.This bag is as light as you are ever going to really get - a factor that makes it easier to carry. I bought three mesh bags - I keep one in my suitcase so I always have a sling on hand. My dogs enjoy feeling “hugged” and being next to my body so slings keep my clingy dog happy. I like that it doesn’t have a bunch of heavy buckles or junk attached to it. It’s simple and light. Most dog carriers are 2 lbs to 4 lbs. This bag is probably under 1 pound.The bag does stink when it arrives so I recommend machine washing it before using it. After washing the material felt nicer and the smell went away.I do wish the manufacturer would add a zipper or Velcro to the pocket and more importantly- make more colors! Black is my go to color for dog carriers BUT I’d like a white, light grey and pastel options for summer to match my outfits (and because light colors absorb less heat).I bought the Temu knock off of the Moncheri too. While the Temu one is called mesh too, it isn’t really breathable - I hated it and gave it to a friend. This bag allows more air to flow through so it’s far better for hot days. The mesh has bigger holes than the Moncheri so it’s possible that nails could get stuck but that has not been a problem for my dogs (maybe because my dogs tend to be very happy and relaxed when riding in slings).Another plus for this sling style bag is that it can be hung around the headrest in a car.The top does not close, it’s not for airline travel but is perfect for shopping and the price is right.

That it has no bottom and doesn’t zip close

I thought this would be good for my dachshund and hoping for less weight on my left shoulder. Tried putting her in it and there's not really any support at all. Her toe nails keep getting hung up in the fabric. Didn't work at all for me.
