These stainless clamps look good but I found that once properly tightened, the threads were damaged to the point that backing the nuts off to make an adjustment was not possible. The threads under the nuts were stripped and the nut would just spin in place instead of loosening. The problem is the diameter of the U-bolt part of the clamps is undersized which compromised the engagement with the threads of the nuts. To remove, you have to use an angle grinder and cut them off. I cannot recommend them.

I bought these stainless clamps for my dock cables. Don't use plain steel ones that will rust quickly especially with salt water.

Overall these worked ok, but as another user suggested they do not do well in a tighten and loosen scenario. I stretched a few thousand ft of fence and tied most of it off with these. Sometimes they bind up and cross thread on the first tightening. If you're pulling a 6k lb cable fence this is just not adequate. If you keep an eye on them they are mostly fine for 2 or 3k lb setups if run in tandem. 20% of them bind up too early I'd say. Need to watch the depth of the nut travel.Stretched a cable fence with them so tight that it bent my 3" pipe uprights on both ends. That night when the temps dropped the colder cable pulled these wire clamps right off. I went back with a sturdier product from the local home improvement store for the few connections that failed under my pressure demands.

I bought these wire rope clamps to use on the wire cables I added to my floating boat dock. The product appears to be solidly build and hopefully lasts a long time (only had a month at time of the review). I used two clamps per loop I made in the cabling. I used a socket and ratchet to tighten each clamp.My only issue was that on one of the 8 clamps I used, the nut was cross threaded and stripped the threads, making it useless. All of the others I used and checked all were fine, so this appeared to be just bad luck on one.I would recommend this product to others.
