I know this sounds silly, but if you work on stuff as much as I do, you know how irritating it is when a normal nut basically buries itself in a socket, or when your wrench keeps sliding off. Secondly, having them stainless, means they will not rust (More or less) which means when you need to take them off in a year, they will not be rusted on.m8x1.25 is a very popular size for modern cars, so I tend to have a lot of them (And m6x1.0) on hand.

These nuts work as intended and hold tight. Threads were smooth with no deformities. Nuts come in a nice plastic case for easy storage. Nice product that performs as one would expect.

I know I am not using these for the intended purpose, but they work great for my application. I have need to temporarily join heavy cardboard tubes together (high power rocketry), and these are great to act as the anchor point (same way that you would use a T-nut in a piece of wood). Since I am limited to surface mounting this on the inside of the tube, the flange is perfect. I just epoxy them to the inside of the hole (and lube up a bolt and place it through to keep the threads clear). One the epoxy dries I just remove the lubed up bolt (epoxy won't stick), and now I have an anchor point so I can remove the pieces easily, but also have a solid permeant connection point. 1/4" is probably overkill for my application, but at least I know something else will fail first.

I like the finish and the flexibility of having a choice to use either these flange nuts or Nylok stop nuts or a regular flat washer,lock washer and nut. These flange nuts are fine for the daily around the home/garage projects. They are finished so well they look like they are chrome plated. I've received other products from Einundcy and they too were of excellent finish and overall quality. Compared to my local store prices these are an excellent value and because they are on my shelf they are 110 miles closer!

So far, just checking these over, I am impressed. The polished finish is first rate. Uniformity is consistent. Weight is also good. And all the details including the serration curve and depth look excellent. I tried a couple of these out, and they do lock down really nicely.If I could change one thing, I'd prefer they were individually clearly marked either "304" or "304 SS" or "A2, and maybe even "A2". But even better is it was "A2 XX", where xx= grade. And unless I missed it, the ad doesn't ever state a grade. Which I assume then means either Grade 2 or Grade A. But not Grade 3 or above.Just keep that in mind depending on where you plant to use them. Plenty good for furniture assembly and lower stress application, Maybe not the ideal choice for some automobile uses beyond simple mounting bracket lock downs and low stress uses. Otherwise, looks like a well-made hardware nut, reasonably priced for 304 stainless at under 25¢ each at time I ordered.

I got these to use on a clutch linkage we installed in our old Lemans. Wanted some with the serrated edge so they would bit in more and not worry about them backing off. These are perfect, the serrations are enough to bit and lock them and they are machined clean enough to install them with two fingers while blindly trying to thread them on a stud. They should last a long time and very nice to have plenty of extras for future projects. They also came in a nice little plastic case, so that'll store nicely in our fastener cabinet in the shop.

These are well made, hefty nuts that are of similar value as my local BigBox Hardware Store - but with these, you get more for your $$$ - which make these a good value. Glad I got em.
