It is usual for washers made of 304 stainless steel to have no markings on them. This is the reason it is very important that the packaging should be labeled as "304 stainless steel". This is the only way for the buyer to know that ordinary steel washers were not shipped by mistake. Although these washers are slightly magnetic, that is usual for 304 stainless steel. It is 316 stainless steel that is non-magnetic. So these washers are most probably made of 304 stainless steel (as stated in the product description). However,this seller should improve the packaging by adding a label that says: "304 stainless steel washers".

Manufactured a replacement battery holddown clamp for my friend's lawn tractor. The shop lost his and it would be 2 weeks to get a replacement. Some threaded stock, hex nuts, washers and 'coupling nuts' worked fine. Cheaper and faster, too.
