These were better than expected.

Hinges are attached by thin plastic, mileage may vary but having used thunder Bs recently, way more bang per buck using a shell and a co2 canister than using these once.

The pair were made really well even after repeated throws on the ground. Once pin was pulled the grenade would only activate if tossed or slightly bumped. Threw water beads and airsoft bbs pretty far. Not great with foam darts as wouldnt really fit! Weight was hefty for plastic toy

For being cheap shower grenade these are definitely some of the better ones under 30 dollars. You get 2 grenades, and they will survive as long as you don't throw them hard. They have a tendency to break after several uses, and mine survived roughly 30 throws each before they no longer worked, so they definitely hold up to some abuse.

So to start with, the fill port plug is full of excess plastic/flashing. It makes the fit nearly impossible to remove with bare fingers. I had to use pliers many times to get it out. After a lot of manual working of it seems to be better, but then I had to start looking closely and shaving off corners and might even have to sand a bit to get it to work in and out easily by hand. No way a child is going to be able to do this if an adult male struggles.Aside from that, the only other complaint is the triggering. The mechanism also seems to suffer tight fit and excess plastic where it should not be. If the doors are solidly latched in place it often does not want to trigger and release even after multiple drops/throws. If the latch rod is jiggled a bit before throwing it sometimes helps, but then also makes it liable to pop open as soon as it is released and you end up with a face full of BBs. So be careful. Again as with the fill plug, it seems to get a little better the more you use it.I’m not sure how many airsoft BBs fit, I didn’t bother counting, but it’s quite a lot. I did note that two to three will not be ejected due to the design of the cup and fill area. This can be seen in one of my pictures where they will just sit below the cup and just sort of fall out when the rest are flung. Not a huge deal.Otherwise, it’s a lot of fun and really can make a mess depending on what you put in there! And they will eject with serious authority. I should also warn that ejection can be a bit directional depending on how the device lands, but it’s not bad. I kind of want a few more of these now.

Feels expensive and is pretty effective at flinging out bb's. I would recommend if you want to cosplay or to use in airsoft. Plus this plastic doesn't feel light or thin, with some ammo it's got some weight. Overall a good grenade.

I decided that glitter would be a bit too much, and possibly a violation of the Geneva convention, so I went with some confetti and googly eyes. The dispersion pattern was a bit uneven but it seems to depend on how the grenade lands.
