I guess I didn't quite process just how big a 3 cm bolt was when i ordered this. I had thought I would experiment with a super long range bed sensor for my 3d printer. I think I need to rethink it though because it's just too big to put on a toolhead if you are remotely concerned with weight.I'm going to use it as a z-end stop instead for when the bed is furthest from the toolhead.

I am more than happy with this component. The sensor arrived much nicer than in the photo. The entire construction is impressive. The nut and threads fit each other perfectly and the finish is flawless. All parts fit tightly and nothing was loose or had gaps. There is plenty of lead wire to make your connections. We are using ours in conjunction with a linear actuator to set a limit on it's extension. It has a range of about 1/2 inch. I am happy with it.
