I had two of my G3 Bullet cameras lose their night vision so I looked around for a solution. These filters fit and they make it easy to get the camera back working again 100%. What you'll need is a very small Phillips screwdriver, a utility knife, a hot glue gun or some sort of similar adhesive a small needle nose pliers and a small nut driver.I followed some instructions that I found on line and swapped out the filters. About the only difference is these need just a dab of glue after they are installed whereas the originals are screwed to the camera module. They fit so well though that they would probably stay in place without any screws or adhesive.Good luck.

Put a webcam on the end of a spotting scope pointed outside. Well, it was all pink! This tiny, cheap filter I popped out and worked well at the eyepiece.

When I saw the listing on Amazon, I thought the two pieces meant you got a lens mount and a filter switch. The pictures only show one complete unit. To my surprise got two complete lens mount and filter switch units. That was a pleasant surprise. The filter switch unit was shorter than the one I needed to replace on the camera board I have, so I needed to modify that lens mount so this could fit. It fits fine in the lens mounts provided, but that lens mount wouldn't fit on my camera board. Took a little work to install. Just for information the distance from the solenoid casing face to the center of the filter is 7.75 mm. The filter window itself is about 8 mm square. It works great and switches cleanly from IR to color filter. Solved the problem that me previous filter got stuck halfway between IR and color. That made for very strange looking video.

I was able to fix my ubiquiti G3 camera with this part. Swapping the filter module takes less than 10 minutes once you know how to take the camera apart. Not a particular difficult repair. Glad the part is available since unifi cameras are somewhat expensive and not always available.

Simple to use and the filter is fairly clear. This is motor driven, apply current in one direction to the two wires, and it closes, drive it in the reverse polarity, and it opens. I was hoping for a simpler operation, but it was easy enough to add an H-Bridge to do the work.
