It works great, and looks good. Easy to separate out my blue cable from all the other ones.

This is a great XLR cable that is high quality and produces great sound. I recently decided to pick up eight of these cables in order to completely replace my drum kit mic cables for a better fit and sound quality. I specifically searched for 90-degree female ends that would allow for a better fit for the mics on my toms and cymbals. The cables are a nice quality and have a better sound than the basic cables that I originally purchased. They also look great on my kit since the ends are black, matching my drum mics. Overall, these cables work very well, are built with great quality, and great sound.

The quality seems good so far. The sound quality is excellent and the quality of the cable meets my needs perfectly. The price is also very resonable.

The LyxPro 10ft XLR microphone cable promises clear sound and durable performance for everyday gigs and recordings. Does it deliver the mic drop or leave you humming a different tune? Let's tune in:Pros:Crystal Clear: Balanced XLR connection ensures clean, noise-free sound transmission.Built to Last: 24 AWG oxygen-free copper and braided shielding resist signal interference and wear.Flexible Flyer: Maneuvers easily without kinking or tangling, thanks to the flexible cable design.Budget-Friendly: Affordable price tag makes it a solid choice for beginner and budget-conscious musicians.Cons:Basic Betty: No fancy features like gold-plated connectors or right-angle plugs.Stiff Starter: Some users report the cable being a bit stiff initially, requiring some breaking in.Connector Quandaries: Some users mention slightly loose or misaligned connectors.Bulkier Buddy: Not the slimmest or most inconspicuous cable on the block.Verdict:The LyxPro 10ft XLR cable delivers reliable sound transmission and durable performance at a budget-friendly price. Just be prepared for a basic, no-frills experience with potential initial stiffness and connector inconsistencies. In short:Get it if: You prioritize clear sound, sturdy build, and affordability for basic mic needs.Skip it if: You crave premium features, prefer a super-flexible or slim cable, or are picky about connector details.

I ordered a few of these because they were red and was disappointed when they weren't. Like the other review said "faded kidney bean color", it's like a reddish brown/orange (see pic). Maybe not a deal breaker for some but I have a color scheme setup in my studio and my OCD started screaming. As for the cable, I love the black metal connectors and the heavy duty feel of the cable. These have gold plated contacts where others look and feel like tin. They feel heavy duty because of the inner cotton braid. Other similarly priced cables only have a string inside and although those cables claim they have 21 gauge wiring, they measure 28 gauge and the cables are super flimsy feeling (other cables). These are as advertised. Just wish the color was red. I ordered some of the short whips just for the ends.Update about the cable quality: This is quality cable. The red and white wire is double insulated, each having its own additional, black, stiff insulation over the colored jacket. Those are then braided over with yarn for dampening. All that is then braided over with the copper ground shield (like tv coax cable). A lot of the other brand cables just have the ground loosely twisted and the other wires loose and flimsy inside the jacket with a few strings alongside all the wires together. I still wish the red was red

So, these are great cables, absolutely nothing wrong with them, great audio quality and a very fair price. My absolute favorite is probably a different company, but they cost at least 4x as much and have less XLR options, so unless you’re on absolute no budget, look no further, I doubt anyone could notice the difference. Like any Lyx XLR cable I’ve used, they’re clearly well insulated but not too stiff (though sometimes that can be bad, only if you don’t know to be careful though. Don’t make the cord kink up, but that’s standard for any audio cable really. Stiffness is the main reason my favorite costs more, but when you start adding equipment, you can’t have cables costing $10/foot even when long. Obviously the short ones get near there, because you’re paying most for the connectors - and good ones they are. I don’t think these are actual Neutriks, but might as well be, even look like them, and I’m not really sure. When you get up to 20’-30’, Lyx really offers amazing pricing. There is some benefit to these over my preferred Lyx setup. They have the lowest profile and take the least room, so if you’re trying to save space behind or above a mixer for example, there’s definitely a benefit. Also, being able to basically extend the connectors by 3’ or whatever you choose can be beneficial in spots where getting behind the equipment is tough. For that, I’m a fan of these.Still, the quad-stars from Lyx are my favorite from them. It’s really just knowing the construction, as I hear no difference, but I use more of them in longer stretches, and have them connected with Lyx 90-degree adapters (also great). That, in my mind, reduces an unnecessary extra cable, but only works because I have room behind my mixer. When space is tight, out these come.Whether as an in-case thing for certain situations or your main setup, I would 100% recommend these and all Lyx XLR cables I’ve encountered. You don’t realize starting out that the packs tbat include cables with equipment are a waste - the cheapest, noisiest possible cables. I have plenty unopened for that reason. If you still can, buy your equipment not in a bundle - it’s never a good deal, you’ll end up getting stuff like this anyway. Also, the 3’ is perfect if you’re using a separate pre amp, whether below the mixer or to the side, generally they’ll be close and this is a great way to connect with a very low profile on the mixer.
