The safety portion seems to work as expected, and I am not disappointed with the purchase. But compared to the safety pins of the 70s the quality is not as profound. But they are good. I would purchase again.

I keep diaper pins on hand to use as fasteners in situations where other pins won't fit or hold. These really do the job.

Did not work well. The safety pin was not sharp and difficult to use so I returned them and purchased a more expensive safety pin that does the job.

I used this in a very unconventional way. Because I was tired of my seatbelt retracting and ripping me in the neck, and seatbelt clips breaking after one day, I used a diaper pin and placed it on my seatbelt to stop it from retracting too far (but within a safe limit) so my seatbelt no longer tries to choke me to death while I’m trying to drive.
