The smell does not last long. They do disperse the urine well but they do not stay in place well and they bend and curve down the urinal hole.

These urinal screens provide good coverage in the urinal and help avoid splash. I like the citrus scent; it helps freshen up the restroom.The interesting thing about these screens is that there are bristles on both sides. Most screens are flat on the bottom side and have longer bristles on the side facing up. I don't see a benefit to having bristles on the bottom side also unless it helps keep the urinal cleaner in general by allowing water to pass underneath when flushing. Flipping the screen over was another thought I had, but that makes no sense; the deodorizer life is what determines when it's time to change them.

The splashback for these is EVEN WORSE than if I wasn't using anything at all.
