These envelopes will be fine for mailing out my yearly magnetic calendars, but they are a bit see-through and no self seal is a pain. Just a heads up. If you need to mail important docs, I would choose something else.

Nice envelope but not as thick as I wanted. Although it is not advertised as a "security" envelope, it's a little thin. You can see the print of the contents through it, much like a standard non-security business envelope. Also, it would be great to have this size in a self seal to eliminate all that licking.On the plus side, I like that it's got a horizontal orientation for booklets and programs. I used it to mail programs to people unable to attend a special event. It served it's purpose.

I needed envelopes large enough for booklets I had printed on legal sized paper. With US legal sized paper being 8.5 in. × 14 in., my booklets were half the size (8.5 in. × 7 in.). I'm happy to report that these envelopes worked perfectly for placing the booklets in!The quality of the paper used to make these envelopes is great. It feels like nice quality paper, but it isn't too thick or cardstock-like, which is good for keeping postage prices down. It's also a nice, clean and crisp white color.Just keep in mind that if you plan on mailing these through the USPS, you will need at least two forever stamps to mail these (as the size puts it in the "large envelope" mailing category). If your mailing is above an ounce, you will need a 21¢ additional ounce stamp for every ounce.

Great sized envelopes to easily print off expense reports allowing you to seal in the receipts. I created an ExcelWord document sized to 7.5 X 10.5 and printed them off. Worked great!
