A wire rope clip is a U-shaped bolt with a special insert, specifically designed to clamp a wire rope to itself.To assemble, insert both ends of wire into clip saddle and tighten nuts until secure.
Perfect for rigging rope, wire and cable in unlimited applications mainly in rigging, temporary guardrail systems, securing loads, hanging banners, flags and signs and basically anything that involves cables.

First of all the U bolt and nuts are sized smaller than a 1/8 " clamp. Leads to failure for 3/16 cable.Second I cannot find metric or sae to fit nut. Tried all the way to 32nd and .5 metric

These clamps are small but work well. Only problem is the ability to tighten the clamp. You see the nuts on the clamp are very close together. This makes it difficult to tighten the clamp down. Use whatever works for you. I use a very small adjustable wrench, very small!

I have to repair my garage door cable and the size is 3/32". The 1/8" cable clip was too large and that is the smallest size available at Home Depot or Lowes. Ace Hardware did not have them.

This is a great kit. They give you plenty of options for a variety of different applications- with lots of cable. I only needed one type of end treatment so I wish I could have customized what end-types I received - or offer them as separate items.
