Great helmet. I had yet to find a bike helmet that fits comfortably, especially the chin strap... until I got this helmet. The fit is adjustable with a wheel in the back so you can dial it in perfectly, and the strap doesn't choke me like many other helmet straps. I haven't use the directional indicators yet, but do like the flashing lights in back and front (or steady on if you prefer) for added visibility. Definitely recommend.

Great fit, charge last a long time , very bright lights front and rear. Easy to adjust the size while wearing. Great helmet from a great company but you pay a high price for this helmet.

The helmet itself is great, I've worn various helmets while riding my ONEWHEEL and other electric rides.Features: Probably one of the best yet brightest LED lights as compare to other helmets here on Amazon. The front white light bounces off every signs, even building windows when it flickers, you'll be spotted or even wake up sleeping drivers. There's also a "beep" sound when you turn on or off the helmet incase you're not sure if it is on or not, whereas other helmets, I have to ask others to check if the lights are on.Comfort: This one has one of the most comfortable fit, chin straps are made of quality material (does not peel after 3months), the interior MIPS is flexible, and light weight.Fitting: I'll say it feels a bit small, if you have trouble sizing, go a bit larger so it is more snug and sits better on the head.Design: Amazing design, one of the best one you can get on "Amazon"CON: I RETURNED THIS HELMET via AMAZON because it came looking "USED", the black foam has dents and creases as if it was used or just dropped. Everything else looked fine, the cover was still wrapped and sealed, but it was just me. So I returned it and ordered it again from their main site.

Although it’s pricey for “just a bike helmet” I’m happy that I bought one. The combination of bright color (mine is orange) and lights that flash make me feel safer riding along busy roads. The turning signal remote attached daily to my handlebars and the audible reminder that the signal is on is a very nice feature. The app on my iPhone paired easily with the helmet and shows remaining battery life before a recharge is needed. The helmet fits comfortably even with a ball cap under it (much better than the lame visor that costs extra).Very satisfied with my purchase!

フィット感 - アジアンフィットが60cmからとの事でMIPSもないこの商品を選ばざるを得ませんでした実際装着すると他のレビューにもある通り側頭部がやや狭いですが痛さは無いです機能 - 実は期待していた自動ブレーキランプ機能のために別売りのRemoteが必要なのに買い忘れてしまい、こちらは後日購入予定。 AppleWatchとの連動も手持ちのシリーズ3ではWatchOS9以上が必要との事で非対応で試せず視認性 - 交差点や店舗の侵入時の対向車が認識してくれているようで 無茶な右折で進路を塞がれる事が大幅に減りました

As an avid cyclist, safety has always been my top priority and the Lumos Ultra is basically an extra layer of safety for my night rides. The lights on the front and rear not only look cool but also significantly increase visibility. And it definitely works because I've noticed that cars are more aware of me, giving me a wider berth when overtaking.One of my favorite features is the turn signal lights. I was a bit skeptical at first but was quickly convinced. The helmet comes with a wireless remote that mounts easily on the handlebar, so I can activate my turn signals without letting go of the grips and the optional remote upgrade enables brake lights. It's not just a gimmick; it's practical and enhances communication with drivers behind me.The MIPS feature ensures that your head is protected from rotational impact forces. Hopefully, I won't have to use it! Though it's comforting to know that Lumos has gone the extra mile to incorporate this technology.One might think that a helmet with so many features would be complicated to use, but it's the opposite. Pairing it with my smartphone was a breeze. I can customize the LED patterns, control the brightness, and even track my rides—all from my phone. The battery life is also impressive, it uses a USB type-C cable.While this helmet is designed with amazing tech features, it's essential to note that its primary goal is to ensure you're visible to others, not necessarily to light up your path. And for those wondering about audio features, it doesn't come with built-in speakers or an intercom system. It's all about prioritizing visibility and safety on the road. After all, I want the trucks to stay AWAY from me!All in all, it covers all the bases - safety, functionality, and a bit of flair. I can focus more on enjoying my rides. I've even had people stop me just to say how cool the helmet looks! Highly recommend it for anyone who rides at night. Honestly, you won't want another helmet after experiencing this one.

The Lumos Ultra helmet is available at 2 prices. The lower price is WITHOUT MIPS. The higher-priced helmet is WITH MIPS. I opted for the slightly more expensive with the additional protection, which is described as reducing helmet movement and helping to reduce brain movement and subsequent injury in the event of an accident. The additional protective material is inserted inside the helmet and you have to apply this yourself when the helmet is first set up to be used. It's easy and small patches of velcro keep it in place.The helmet itself is lightweight, not too bulky and easy to adjust. The lighting on the helmet at the front does the job of helping increase your visibility and can be set to remain on, or flash. I would say the light is not bright enough to replace a handlebar-mounted light if the thought crossed your mind. The control for the helmet light flashing pattern can be controlled via an app, available for iOS and Android. There is a charging port and button to operate the light on the rear of the helmet.The rear lights look great - very neat and bright, again, increasing visibility on the road. The rear lights also operate as indicator lights, left and right flashing. These are controlled via a supplied add-on for handlebars and are easy to use, with a small beep emitted from the helmet to let you know they are in use. Very handy. The button controller is small and easily attached to the handlebar. As with the front lights, the rear lights have customisation options via the phone app. The left/right indicator control comes with a 2032 battery and is easy to fit.The phone app also provides you with feedback on the batter level of the helmet lights and Lumos actually offers firmware updates via the app, which is connected by Bluetooth to the helmet. The supplied USB-A to USB-C cable will charge the helmet from your typical iPhone or Android charging plug.FYI - There is an optional device, compatible with this helmet, which can be purchased and I think uses an accelerometer to provide 'brake' lighting, to alert anyone behind you that you are slowing down.The helmet is breathable and feels sturdy, offering a level of comfort and reassurance when you're cycling. It's good value for money in my opinion, and hopefully, I will never have to find out just how good the helmet protection can be.
