This thing is awesome! It never failed me over the summer. Great WiFi range. We did bring it inside for the winter out of freezing temps. Also needed plumbers tape because the hose connection was leaking but that was the hose. The box itself did not leak. Highly recommend!!

Bought 2 of these several months ago. They were absolutely great, until the one that ran the pool hose malfunctioned when I was at work and overfilled the pool.

The Lumary Smart Sprinkler Timer is a fantastic addition to my garden setup. It controls two zones, making it easy to water different areas of my garden without any hassle. The WiFi connection works smoothly, allowing me to manage the timer through the app or even with voice commands via Alexa. The brass inlet feels sturdy and durable, and the option to switch between manual and automatic modes is really convenient. It’s perfect for both drip irrigation and regular watering. Overall, this timer has made garden maintenance much easier and more efficient.

This WiFi water timer with two valves allows me to set it and forget it and water my garden beds. I have beds on the side of my house and back on my house and this lets me water both. Easy to install, set up with an app that lets you monitor water info, time to water etc. great purchase and it’s been working great all summer.

The timer has been a lifesaver for me. Had just reseeded my lawn in two places and these have to be kept wet throughout for 21 days. Physically doing it was a difficult job whereas Lumary made my job easy as I can now monitor from my phone and if it rains I can switch it off. I have scheduled it run few minutes everyday so as to just keep it moist instead of overwatering. The app ,ease of use and performance is AWESOME. A welcome addition to my family.

Installed the app. No problem.Added the water timer device to the app. No problem.Tried adding the gateway device to the app. Problem. Wasted an hour trying to add this stupid thing and then realize that it wasn't going into pairing mode. When I plug it into the wall the light starts flashing a long flash every 2 seconds or so. The manual says to hold the button for 5 seconds and when you see the light flashing rapidly it's in pairing mode and then you add it to the app but the light never goes into a rapid flashing pattern so I'm assuming it's defective.Tried to reach out to customer support that people have raved about by going to their website and filling out the form only to find out when I hit the send button it doesn't do anything. I then exited the form and start it over and redid it all again only to find the send button does not work. Wow! What great customer support!I read of a few other customers having the same issue and one guy returned it twice only to have the same problem. Might be a good product but apparently quality control is not very good.

09/21/2014: This is an update to be previous reviewFinally got support to agree that the product was defective and OK replacement, Replacement arrived 4 days later which was pretty fast. Summary ... Support is not as helpful as expected but when they finally make decision replacement is quick.09/17/2024: This is an update to be previous reviewAfter a month I had problems with 1 of the 4 units I bought -- the timer was just not starting/stopping. Found that it was due to low battery power so I replaced the batteries with new ones (same brand and from same package as I used in the other 3). Again, after two days battery went from 100% o %24% (as shown in the iPhone app). Tried replacing batteries 4 more times with same result. Tried installing one of the good timers location to location of timer having problem -- no problem with that timer, it held it's charge. Tried moving failing unit closer to blue tooth device, still discharging within two days (so it's not distance)/ Tried just bringing the unit into my house and again lost charge with in two days (so it's not environmental, like a water leak). Have gone back and for the with Lumary support to no avail. They first wanted a video and photo of problem (what am I going to show them, a video of a battery discharging?) Then I got sent to another dept and they wanted in unit ID to update software (I had checked that and software is at current release). Then that said maybe it was leaking (to which I countered that it still happened when unit was inside and even if it was leaking that would be a defect in their production). Got told they were going to consult another department. So new summary is the unit is good when working and is easy to set up But if you run into any problem their support is terrible. Note that the battery problem has also been identified in one of the other one star reviews.I'll update this again when either Lumary replaces the unit or says it's not a problem.Original review:I've tried other similar water timers that worked OK but did not allow for remote control via iPhone because of max distance of timer from bluetooth device.I tried this brand because 1) it advertised 50 range from deice to bluetooth 2) it used 4 AA batteries rather than 2 (more batteries, more power, longer distance (i assumed)). Took all of two minutes to set up inside my house: plug in blue tool device, add device to app on iphone, activate timer by pressing button till lights blink, then add timer to bluetooth device. Then moved everything to garage and outdoor gardens.Easy to set up manual run by selectin time (which is remembered) and then pressing manual in app.Easy to set up automation by adding auto-time where you enter what time you want it to start, how long, and when (selected days, every day, every other day, even days, odd days). Just set and forget. The instructions that come in the package say to download and use the Lumary app but I hate having lots of apps, each of which runs one manufacturers device. II already had the SmartLife app (available from iPhone store) installed that runs lights, plugs, etc in my house and thought I'd give that a try. Worked like a charm!. So now I have all my automation (except for two Kaza plugs) controlled by one app.Once I installed I also went to the app and connected it to Alexa (actually it adds an Alexa skill for the water timer) and now I can control timer via voice from Alexa.Cannot comment on durability as I've only had it for a day.As for service ... cannot say good things now. Tried going to Lumary web site and chat to see if SmartLife was supported and whether they sell package with just time, not with blue tooth device as the one device will control multiple timers. Entered my question and waited 15 minutes and no response so I gave up and just gave it a try.Additional infomation: After doing the install you now have sis devices defined:- 2 Lamary Water Timers- For each timer, 2 zones named zone 1 & zone 2These can easily be renamed to make it easier to rememer which is whic. For eample:- Left garden timer-Left zone 1-Left zone2- Back garden timer- Back zone 1- Back zone 2Overall this is a nicely design timer although a bit more expensive than other timers.Update: Added third timer; took about 2 minutes and all three are working fine and controllable from my iPhone.

Every time without fail, the app tells me the device isn't working when I start it up. So I tap around and the notice goes away and all's well. First couple of times was a worry then I got used to the false alarm. The unit itself has worked fine through the summer, running two hoses automatically, and I also like being able to control one manually on the fly in the front yard if I need to, without having to walk back and forth to the back yard hose connection. This seems to be a solid and reliable device, I'm happy with it.
