I got this to use alongside my Halloween prop. I have a zombie that I set in my office behind a fence that is motion activated. When the zombie gets set off it makes noise which then activated this light. I would get more of these to set around the house.

Added this stone light to the Coll this year and it works wonderfully! Small and mighty. Love how it changes colors!

Super easy to use, great multi-color functionality. Perfect for illuminating bat decorations in my upstairs window for Halloween. Will use this on the green or red setting for Christmas too!

This is a very cool, small and inexpensive lighting unit. Unfortunately, the remote control only worked a couple of times. I don't know if the supplied battery is no good or if the remote control is defective but I'll be returning this product. I'll order another one and give it one more chance. I'm really satisfied with the quality, but only if it actually works...

First, this product does operate as advertised: it has RGB lighting, strobe effects, can be used in a sound-activated mode, and has a good remote control. So the basics are here. It's also constructed primarily of metal, not plastic, and has a nice thick power cord that should give years of service with no troubles.Everything else about this product is a little weird... not bad... just weird. First, the outer construction is metal, all right, but it's relatively thin metal. It's dent resistant but not impervious to being dropped, so I'm pretty sure the metal used is aluminum. So when you pick it up, it will feel lighter than what you may expect and doesn't have the solidity to support its own weight. You will definitely have to mount it to something to fix it in the direction you want to go, or if you're using it outside, you can stake it down and it will stay put. Likewise, the cable, while thick is not very long (a little less than 3', I think), so you're going to have to mount it pretty close to where you intend to power it.The most odd choice about the product is the way lighting works on it. Rather than pure colors, it seems to rely heavily on the strobing effect to get "simulated" colors. This was almost certainly done to reduce cost by not using general purpose or multi-channel LEDs. So if you push the "white" button on the remote, you'll get a strobe effect of various colors that on reflection look kinda sorta white. Most of the other colors on the remote work the same way. And the light itself is not very bright, so shine it within 10' or so of your target. All in all, your best bet with this product is to turn the strobe effect on pretty high and just rely on the multi-color button, which works fine, particularly for Halloween applications, which is what I used it for. Finally, the product is somewhat water-resistant but definitely not waterproof. There are seams and gaps all over the place, so if you leave it outside to get rained on or wet by your sprinklers, there's a good chance that the product is not going to stand up to that. So unless you live in a super-dry area or you're willing to go outside to rescue it if it gets cloudy, keep its use only to monitored times or under a roof. But if you can live with these quirks and limitations, what you have here is a very inexpensive strobe light for non-professional applications.

These strobes were for a Halloween display and were mounted to blocks of wood to keep them out of the grass and to help keep them pointed in the correct direction. The brightness was not adequate for outside environment and was only slightly noticeable when placed 4 feet in front of the skeleton decorations. The quality of the strobe seemed good and it operated fine for a few hours the night they were setup. Then they would not turn on the next day. I tried letting them sit inside for a while and still nothing. Tried using manual operation and the remote and they simply would not do anything. Weather while they were outside was not rainy or abnormally damp at all, normal day with cool evenings and sunny skies all day. So apparently, just the morning dew was enough to damage the circuit board. I would not waste my money or time on these strobes if you are looking for something to go outside.
