A brand new AC compressor sure looks good after you successfully complete the installation, but it can be a real pain if you don’t adequately prepare. A compressor replacement comes with other component replacements including the filter / dryer, expansion orifice dealing with having to disconnect all of the tubing fittings and flange connections to each component…not to mention potentially disturbing valve cores and other tube fittings that just exist as part of the system. Each one of these is now a potential leak. Preparing for this type of job means trying to anticipate which ‘disturbed’ connection may need a new O-ring or gasket and making sure you have it on-hand; or take a chance and hope it does not leak. Well, no more guessing and no need to take a chance. This kit has it all! Compressor flange gaskets, multiple size O-rings, valve cores, etc. that allow you to secure a good leak-proof seal across the system. WOW! I strongly recommend this product if you do any AC work.

I was in need of an o-ring, for a washing machine water cutoff valve. So, when I got the chance to get this Assorted O-ring Kit, I did not hesitate. This kit comes with an assortment of rings and gaskets of various sizes, which are oil and gas resistant, and can prevent leakage of air and various liquids. Fortunately, for me, the kit included the exact size and shape I needed.

If you are a fix-it kind of person like me, every so often you need an 'O' ring of a certain size. Having a good assortment of rings around the house is handy. After all, who wants to burn $5 worth of gas going to the hardware store for a 50 cent 'O' ring?

This kit is great! the sizes worked well for what i needed and sealed up the leaks from my old hoses with rotted seals. Its nice to have an organized collection of these o rings in different sizes for multiple applications. Lube the seals with a thin coat of oil before install and you wont have an issue again (most likely)

PROS: Great kit with good assortment of common sizes and style ring seals, decent storage, organization and carry box. CONS: Still may not fit every application or specific size you may run into, (they keep changing all the time) but, fits most for speedy repairs! Stay leak free!
