Arrived and was installed immediately, however it doesn't work. I've tried flipping it upside down and reinstalling but it still doesn't light up. Very disappointing, as my filter does not UV clean as it's supposed to.***EDIT***After reading other reviews about the issue being their filter rather than the bulb I sprayed some contact cleaner in the housing. Sure enough it worked like a dream. Issue was with my machine and not the bulb.

Bought it for a replacement for model AC4825. Double checked when I removed the burnt out bulb to be sure it was the same. Light continued to flash, even after turning the machine off and holding down the UV light button several times. Removed the plate and reinserted it, turning it over this time. Nope. Light continued to flash, then turn off after a couple minutes, just like it did with the burned out bulb. Am returning it for a genuine Germ Guardian bulb, which lasted for several years of 24/7 use.

This product is as bright as the original light. It was a little difficult to install. It snapped in like it was installed correctly, but my husband discovered it wasn’t making true contact with the sensors as we had thought. It was easily adjusted, and so far has worked great.

Direct replacement for my GermGuardian AC4825 air purifier. The original bulbs were really in there and didn't want to come out, but these snapped into place just fine. Good deal, good value for UV germ killing.

Works as expected. Not too sure about claims of this product not being as bright as the original bulbs as I didn't check to see how bright these bulbs are (as you're not supposed to look at the light). Installation was simple enough. I would buy this again.

Lower cost than the OEM replacement bulb. Easy to install. Lower wattage than the OEM bulb (I already knew this when I bought it though). The build quality is not as good as the original. The bulb tubes are not straight and there is some sort of filler between the glass and base. The output is not as bright as the original but I don't believe this will cause any issues. The last bulb lasted over a year. If this lasts the same amount of time I will buy again. If not I'll spend the extra $2 and get the OEM.

I replace the UV bulb in my Germ Guardian air purifiers at least every year, or if the purifiers signal me to change them sooner. This model and brand fit and work perfectly and last the entire year. I've ordered this exact item before and am pleased that for a second time, the quality and durability are stellar.
