Works decently well with the right mix of snow. Details are sharper than expected. Sometimes the dies fall out which is annoying. Really wish it came with a mesh bag/drawstring or something to keep all the pieces together when traveling to the beach.

This is the epitome of 'you get what you pay for.' If this was more expensive, it would be a hard pass, but it is rather modestly priced so I'll let it slide. A few of the shapes/items are zero stars and could probably be tossed, but a few others are good for infrequent use. The shovel great and the snowball makers are decent, but one did break on its second use. The plastic on this set is just too thin so it flexes and bends when you're trying to 'clasp' the snow, so unless it is fresh powder, it will not work very well and likely break. As such, this is an okay single or couple time use product, but not something I'd expect to last multiple seasons.

I was confused at first when I saw the box as there are pictures of it being used on the beach but I see that this set can be used for snow and sand which is great, we'll get twice as much use out of it. The pieces all feel great and there's lots of fun options for making shapes. The shovel needs to be put together, but the set comes with screws and a screw driver.This is a fun set, that can be used year round.

At first glance this is a good snow set. Sadly, we havenāt had snow yet but I do anticipate my kids will have fun with the pieces!I really love the penguin and snowman molds. I like the snowballs and duckie too, though they are a little small. The durability seems OK, not heavy duty, but should last through winter and hopefully into next. Not a ābuy for lifeā level.The swappable snow mold with different pieces is a good idea, but if you have little kids keep in mind they will probably need an adult to swap out the molds because it takes a good amount of hand strength to get them in and out.My two issues with this set are that half of the molds are ocean and beach themes, making them think they were originally from a sand pail set. Sea star, octopus, etc. are all summertime and not winter themes. I would have enjoyed either a castle/igloo mold, a polar bear, etc.My biggest problem is that the shovel handle doesnāt fit into the blade of the shovel, making it pointless. Itās just not functional sadly.I do think this is a fun set, I would probably pay $10 in the store for it pre-inflation.
