Having one central location on the boat to run your ethernet cables is wonderful!!!

Why would they care if I have Lowrance and Hummingbird on the same network? It isn't like the graphs would magically talk to each other. I would have preferred a generic setup so I could find one with more ports. This is a must have product to share anything other than waypoints between your graphs.

I purchased the NEP - 2 on November 15th of 2019. One of the expansion ports failed the other day while i was out fishing. I switched my Ethernet cable to another port and it started working perfectly fine. Please replace this defective product since it is only a couple months old. At best I use my boat maybe twice a week so there is no reason this unit should have already failed. The 3rd party seller said sorry we wont help you and referred me to Lowrance where they or someone else purchased the product. A reputable vendor would not tell a Prime member to basically this problem is yours and go get in line with the manufacturer. I purchased from Amazon 3rd party and they should replace their defective product and go get in line and try to get a replacement. BUYER BEWARE...STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR!!!!!!

Excellent ethernet hub for the marine environment. I use it to connect my upstairs and downstairs chart plotters to my radar system.
