Our local recycling program has asked that we place all shredded paper into these types of recyclable bags. Normally used for greens recycling, they are a bit bigger than what we need them for however, they were a good price and can hold a large amount of shredded paper so I am very happy with my purchase.

Luckily, where I live, I can place all recyclables into one container & set them out for pickup. These bags are sturdy, large & tall, so I can load everything in them, from cans to bottles & paper, etc. They're MUCH lighter for me to carry out than those large plastic recycling bins, so I use these instead. They'd be excellent for cleaning up leaves & lawn debris as well. Very reasonably priced. Will keep ordering these in the future. :-)

I don't use them for lawn or leaf trash ... I use them to pack thrift store donations wash-fold -stack staple shut some tape to prevent rips,I write whats inside the bags on the outside ...I use instead of boxes or giant plastic garbage bags everything stays folded clean for the folks who work at the donation center I am taking 6 bags full of clothing sheets towels shoes etc. to one of my favorite thrift stores in June mountain mammoth California Gull Lake thrift store ....
