What you need?
- Low Voltage Wire / Long Wire (Not included in this set)
For low voltage landscape lighting, 14 or 12 gauge wire with 2 strands will work just fine.
- Low Voltage Wire Connector (Included 12 wire connectors in this set)
The wire connectors are used to connect the two short wire strands that extend from each light to the long wire.
- Low Voltage Transformer (Not included in this set)
Low voltage transformer is used to convert the standard home line voltage (usually 110 volts) to a lower voltage (usually 12 or 24 volts).
How to connect the two short wire strands that extend from each light to the long wire?
- Split the long wire to two strands (each strands uses a connector), tap the metal prongs on the connector directly into your long wire and then tighten down the connector.
- Slid the two short wire strands that extend from each light into the wire holder on the connector, and then tighten down the connector.
How to attach the long wire to the landscape lighting transformer?
- Use a wire stripper to remove the plastic wire casing from about 1/2” of wire.
- Insert the bare wire into the slot on the transformer and use a screwdriver to tighten the little metal screws on the back of the transformer that clamp down on the wire.

My Reegold landscape lights arrived quickly, were packaged well and were easy to assemble. The hardware was quality stainless steel and came with the tool to assemble. The wire connectors were easy to use. The metal bracket was a little flimsy if you put too much pressure on it when pushing into the ground but that wasn't a big deal. The power wires were a little shorter than the previous lights I installed so I had to add wire to one of my lights. The instructions didn't specify which wire was positive or negative but after installing it didn't seem to matter. Once powered up they are super bright and look amazing in my landscape. I am definitely happy with my purchase.

You no longer have to spend a large sum of money to make your lawn looking nice. These landscape lights were very affordable, bright, elegant, and made the house look amazing. They were easy to install, had all the parts you need, and not complicated to connect. I ended up using my own way to connect them but I believe the connectors they send could also work just as good. If you are looking for an Affordable way to transformYour lawn and landscape those are the ones to get. Love them!

I bought these to replace battery operated lights. The cost of batteries was getting too high, and the price on these lights was such that I could break even in less than a year. Installation was a breeze. No wire stripping! I have never had an easier time connecting lights to the low voltage cable. The only tool needed was an allen wrench, included with the lights, for the bolt that connects the stake to the fixture. I didn't have to redo any connections and the lights all worked. They are very bright (I am using a 12 volt transformer). I am using them to illuminate a path, and unless I point them somewhat down they are too bright for people walking on the path. Fortunately they can be tilted easily. Some might prefer taller lights with a conical top that only shines down. These would be terrific for illuminating shrubbery or trees.

i wasn't sure what I'd be getting with these lights. They were far less expensive than others I've bought in the past. But I had a couple of shorts in my system and a few lights that simply quit working - so I bought these after a bit of research and thought "well, at least I won't lose a lot of money."Well ... was i surprised. Out of the box I could tell these were well made. Just as nice - if not better - than the ones I had previously purchased at a big box home hardware store but at a fraction of the price. Seriously - I got six for what I would have paid for two!I didn't realize they came with connectors so ordered a pack of those. I needn't have bothered. The connectors that come with this are easy to use and very good. Instructions aren't that great - but you can figure it out.Very pleased with this. My landscape lights needed a refresh and these worked perfectly!
