I cannot say enough good things about these! I love them! I bought for my kids and these scissors literally only cut paper, well playdoh too. I have tried to cut my hair with them and it doesn’t work! I have also tried to cut my fingers with them (ya know testing out for the kids, because kids will be kids) and they don’t hurt or cut, unless you push them down really hard then they hurt, but they don’t break the skin. These are great for little ones learning to cut!

I purchased these scissors for the rising 3 year olds at my school. As an elementary art teacher I wanted parents to know the importance of fine motor skills and practice cutting with their children. These scissors were great I tried cutting my hair and my shirt with no luck but they easily cut paper and play dough.

The scissors are safe they won’t cut little fingers. They’re a good size for toddlers and started out pretty easy to use. However, seems like with any bit of stress they become warped, and the next thing you know they are not cutting because the blades are not lining up well enough against each other, and they are not working anymore. I’ve only used them maybe a few times, and now they’re not working like they were when I first opened them up.

These are the best scissors for preschoolers! They only cut playdoh and paper! They will not cut clothes or hair!!!! Amazing! Will be buying more!

These scissors are safe and I love that they are designed with one handle larger than the other so that you can teach kids how to properly hold scissors. I also love that they can be made to be self opening for those kiddos that are having a harder time. The problem is that they are designed very loosely so the blades don’t line up and therefore don’t cut well. They work all right if you fill the entire blade area with paper, but most children learning to cut tend to snip with the tips of the blades. The scissors do not cut at the tips, so they are unable to snip paper that way and get frustrated. Unfortunately, I will be returning the scissors.
