I bought this to donate to a pottery class for the blind that a friend attends. I will edit my review when a few people have used it and given me feedback.

Smooth and a nice glossy finish, I got this mug form for the gentle curve. The price seems pretty high for a single cup mold. I like the detachable handle and it interchanges smoothly with my other pottery molds.

I've been handbuilding pottery for a few years now (let’s face it, I just never got the hang of the wheel), and this mug mold has been a great addition to my process. It helps create more uniform shapes and has sped up the time it takes me to build a basic pot. I especially like the curved bottom, which gives the mugs a really pleasing shape.The wood is smooth and well-polished, though mine had some dark occlusions that are purely visual (you can’t feel them at all). It’s definitely on the pricier side, and the product description is a bit confusing. I think beginners would really benefit from a tutorial and especially a slab template. Still, it's a solid, well-made tool that does its job!

Perfectly round, good quality wood, finished well. Looks just like the pictures. I like that the handle is removable. It makes it easier to store in my tool kit.
