This keypad motion sensor alarm from Mosaic Alarm wasn't hard to set up at all and it is loud. It can be powered by batteries which aren't included or by an electric adapter that uses a USB connection but it doesn't include the wall block. Also I see no way of using it with the electric adapter if you use the hanger as there is no where for the cord to be threaded out. I don't like that it only allows five seconds to disarm. I also don't like that when you change batteries you have to reset the number code. I do like how loud that it is and it is very responsive to movement. I want to point out that the product page show the alarm outside, I don't believe that it is waterproof so not sure that I would use it out in the weather.

I needed an alarm for a back room where my normal alarm system didn't reach. So, I found this one. And this motion sensor alarm is designed for simplicity and effectiveness. It's got a user-friendly keypad, and setting a 4-digit PIN code is straightforward, eliminating the need for smartphone apps. The alarm is portable and can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat surface, making it suitable for garages, sheds, or even for travel purposes like camping.Pros:High-Decibel Alarm: The 135dB siren is loud enough to attract attention and deter potential intruders.User-Friendly Keypad: No app required; easy to set up and operate.Flexible Power Options: Operates on AA batteries or via USB DC power, accommodating various user needs. Love that it comes with a power cord, although you'll need a USB charger.Portable and Versatile: Ideal for multiple settings, including garages, sheds, and during travel.Cons:You can't use 4 as the first number in your PIN.PIN Reset on Battery Change: The 4-digit PIN code needs to be re-set each time batteries are replaced. In practice, this motion sensor alarm offers a practical solution for enhancing security in various environments. Its loud siren effectively deters unwanted presence, and the straightforward keypad operation is really easy to use. However, the necessity to reset the PIN code after each battery change could be seen as an inconvenience. But overall, if you're seeking an uncomplicated and portable security device, this alarm is a good choice.

This is a very simple motion detector alarm. It works, no false alarms yet, can be usb or battery powered, and is overall a simple device. As far as the limitations:* When setting the alarm or pressing the buttons, it makes the same LOUD beep as the alarm.* It could probably be disabled by a thief quickly and easily/* To use USB-powered, you have to remove the case, or perhaps drill a hole through the unit.

This alarm is small but super loud specially in a shed/ small room! You can use with batteries or usb (chord included) I’m not sure how long the batteries would last but I would think they would last a long time as it would be mostly standby mode with occasional alarm (depending on location) .I will be using inside a shed where is very unlikely someone will break in but is nice back up for the price. Instructions are not the greatest but can definitely figure it out.

Full disclosure, the first one I got never worked and had a nasty electrical burning smell when batteries were installed. Amazon and vendor did a quick replacement, and now I am happy as can be. Setting code happens every time you replace batteries. Once set, it can do many alarms before the batteries need replacement. Loud enough I can hear from separate building (it protects my tool shed). Definitely recommend.

This review is for the motion sensor alarm.PROS- Pretty loud- Easy to set up- Good for a backdoor or a garage door- Compact size and portable, bring it when you travel too- Motion sensor works fairly well- Good deterrent for animals and pets and some peopleCONS- If it's a violent intruder, this alarm is very easy to break and smash- Warning beep/flash before alarm activatesOverall, this is a decent alarm deterrent for animals and nosy people. It'll also work to alert you that it senses something in the vicinity so that's pretty helpful too

This is similar to an alarm I have seen in many different businesses. The instructions seem complicated but it is very simple in reality. At first I was disappointed thinking it had to use AA batteries, and thought they were dumb to include a USB cord but as I read the instructions and opened up the unit I realized it could be powered by USB so I installed that rather than use batteries. What makes it so easy to use is that you don't have to remember a passcode because every time you arm it you set the code so it doesn't need to be the same one every time. It emits the loudest alarm sound if not disarmed, holy!

Device attaches using two screws secured through the backplate into a stud or wooden entry frame. It certainly could be designed to be held on stronger but it is loud. I doubt anyone is going to stick around once it trips.Setting the four digit code was easy and arming it simply requires you to press the number 4…then you have 30 seconds to clear the zone. I played around with motion and at about 6 feet away it will detect movement and beep once quickly….then you have 5 seconds to enter your code before it releases an extremely annoying and loud alarm. You can enter your code after it sounds to silence it. If left it will continue with the alarm for 30 seconds and you’ll likely wake up some dead people in the graveyard. It does come with user friendly instructions and user guide. There’s a lot of uses for this besides burglars or people snooping where they shouldn’t be! Would be great to use by pools or hot tubs to deter children. Great for camping especially with bears (it would scare them off really fast). Also would be great at getting rid of pigeons or robins trying to roost on your window sill or gazebo.I like the dedicated usb option but having batteries installed ensures power is provided even if the cor is cut or removed. I think this could be very helpful to place by your RV generator, or inside the screen door. I do like the device. It’s a good deterrent and does alert you that someone or something is not where it should be.I do have three considerations about this. First, there is no way to adjust the sensitivity. I would like it to be more sensitive and be able to detect movement further from it. 6 feet seems too close for comfort - I’d like it to trip at 12 -14 feet away. Secondly, when it detects movement it chirps (don’t really need that cue as the operator and it could alert would-be crooks to where it is. Lastly, sort of the same thing…it also flashes a light when it first senses motion (again, you don’t need this as the operator as you placed it there and it’ll just alert would-be crooks to where it is before it has a chance to sound). I removed two stars for this oversights because you could use black paint or nail polish to block out the red light.
