How to Measure
Each of our window blinds is designed to provide a precise fit for your window. Please note that each blind will come with a 1/2 inch deduction to ensure a snug fit inside the window frame. As a result, the blind will be 1/2 inch smaller than the size listed in the product description.
How to Measure Your Window
To achieve the best fit, follow these measuring instructions carefully:
- Width Measurement: Measure the inside of the window opening from left to right at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. Select the blind size with a width closest to your narrowest measurement.
- Height Measurement: Measure the inside of the window opening from top to bottom at the left, middle, and right. Record the longest measurement. Choose a blind with a height longer than your measurement, as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.
Installation Options
Our blinds are suitable for both inside and outside mounting of a window frame:
- Inside Mount: Install the blind completely inside the window frame. Ensure the window frame is at least 1-1/2 inches deep for a flush inside mount.
- Outside Mount: Measure your window opening and add three inches to determine the appropriate blind size for outside mounting.

The final result looks nice, but 2 things worth noting that would stop me from buying more:- They smell on install. It smelled like gasoline after I hung 2 sets of these up in a room.- They’re not easy to install on existing window frames. The instructions ask for 2 screws to be put straight into the top window trim piece. The holes are so close to the wall, though, to the point that a drill can’t easily insert those screws or drill the holes.In the future, I’d probably buy a different brand that had an easier install process.

I like this blind. It looks very nice on my window and it was easy to put up. All needed parts were present. I will keep an eye on the rod that opens and closes the blinds as it does connect with just a small piece of plastic. Others have mentioned that might be a little flimsy so I will keep an eye on that but right now it works perfectly. It’s fairly easy to raise and lower the blind, though to be honest, mine will predominantly stay down all the time. I really like the cordless style. I thought I would order more, but I am not seeing the very large sizes that I need but again this blind, I feel, was worth the purchase.
