How to Measure
Each of our window blinds is designed to provide a precise fit for your window. Please note that each blind will come with a 1/2 inch deduction to ensure a snug fit inside the window frame. As a result, the blind will be 1/2 inch smaller than the size listed in the product description.
How to Measure Your Window
To achieve the best fit, follow these measuring instructions carefully:
- Width Measurement: Measure the inside of the window opening from left to right at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. Select the blind size with a width closest to your narrowest measurement.
- Height Measurement: Measure the inside of the window opening from top to bottom at the left, middle, and right. Record the longest measurement. Choose a blind with a height longer than your measurement, as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.
Installation Options
Our blinds are suitable for both inside and outside mounting of a window frame:
- Inside Mount: Install the blind completely inside the window frame. Ensure the window frame is at least 1-1/2 inches deep for a flush inside mount.
- Outside Mount: Measure your window opening and add three inches to determine the appropriate blind size for outside mounting.

This blind is nicer than the professionally installed ones I got from Lowe's!!! Color is perfect , easy to install. If you're taking some old blinds out and think you could set this one right into the same hooks/ brackets that are up on each side of your previous blinds, you can't, the base ( top) are a little thicker then the standard size. . Highly recommend.

I can’t believe I found this standard size blind to fit my Powder Room bathroom window! I thought I was going to have to do custom and we had a custom quote for several windows and it was about $4500 including this window. Needless to say haven’t done the other windows yet but I was happy to find this one to fit. It’s nice quality I feel and it was pretty easy to install for me being a 64 year old novice DIY’er. 🤣 It took me longer than I expected because I had to change out the screws, but the screws that came with it are fine but didn’t work for me. Other than that, it’s pretty straightforward with good instructions. When my husband goes away on business, he comes home to projects that I’ve done. This one was pretty easy. Good value and blocks the afternoon sun from hitting my art work (the reason I bought it). Happy! Will buy more for our other two bathrooms.

I’ve ordered 4 sets of blinds from Lotus & Windowware, and they’re all fabulous. My previous blinds were cheap and all beat up - these immediately made the space look SO much better. They’re very easy to install for the “inset” option, just need a drill. They block light sufficiently and are easy to clean - they remain clean pretty well too, when I forget to dust. They’re a good weight and feel very sturdy. Very easy to use in day-to-day. It’s insanely how much these blinds improve the look of our space.

I ordered 18 different size blinds, one came was the wrong size (warehouse fault), it was exchanged quickly. Very happy with the look and quality. Very easy to install.

I typically have bought other blinds from a different company, six others to be exact which I had no issues installing. Due to this being a special size of just 10 inches, I did go with this company instead as there's not a lot of choices out there. I have to tell you this was the worst experience I can remember having with a product. I had successfully installed six previous window blinds before, so I have a little idea of how they are supposed to work.However, these instructions were horrid. Tiny little drawings which could literally be interpreted from about three different positions and angles to set up inserts. They left out pertinent information as to remove certain cardboard inserts and things before installation, and it seems like there's a step missing that they didn't include which would have been helpful. The instructions were useless, and good luck finding videos for this exact product. I don't know if it's due to the special size or what, but it was a bad experience.Then when I did get them installed, they are cordless meaning there's no cord to pull the blinds up, they are supposed to just pull slightly at the bottom and then start to adjust inward as you bring them up. This was not the case, they just dropped to the bottom fully extended. Then when I tried to pull them slightly to see if I could set them to start to come back up, the cord snapped. It's really poor quality and a cheap product.What should have taken me no more than half an hour, wound up taking me about an hour and a half of a Saturday morning.You can draw your own conclusions from this. Perhaps I received the one in the million bad one that didn't make it through their quality procedures, or maybe this is typical. We'll never know, but you have been warned.

I really love these blinds, great quality, very sturdy, and they fit my window perfectly! They arrived very well packaged and were in perfect condition. They did take several months to arrive due to being out of stock, but that's happening everywhere these days so understandable. They were definitely worth the wait!They were very easy to install and instructions were easy to follow. My window width is exactly 30" wide and they fit perfectly. I chose to mount them from the top corners of the window. They aligned nice and straight in the window and operate smoothly when opening and closing. (You may notice some extra slats at the bottom. That was my choice to get the standard out-of-the-box cut, they will custom cut to fit your window length exactly if requested. I don't mind the extra slats, it works just fine.) They feel very sturdy and are a nice quality, with a good weight. The slats are a good thickness. And they look beautiful!I took one star off of my rating because the blinds are supposed to be white, but they are really a light tan or ivory color. The box says they are white, and the picture on the box looks white, but the blinds themselves are clearly not (see my second pic, compare color of blinds to the white moulding around the window.) This was not a huge issue for me because I don't mind the color, but others might be unhappy if they really want white blinds.Other than the color issue, these are awesome blinds and I highly recommend!
