My elderly mother has been playing Hand and Foot for years with her friends every week, but over the last year her eyesight has deteriorated so that she couldn't see the numbers and suits on her cards. They tried oversized cards once, but this proved untenable because of the number of cards they had to hold onto. I got her these large print, regular sized cards, and she's back to playing weekly and enjoying life a bit more. Her friends also like them, all being over 70 themselves and not having the best eyesight. They are very good quality, and she likes the fact that they're plastic coated and easy to clean -- an important factor, given that they usually have snacks during their card games.

The cards seem to be very stiff. However, after using about a half a year, they are very nice very long lasting. The registration on the cards are very good. Would recommend.

These are really nice cards! They state in the info that they have a "linen finish" (like quality casino cards have). They do have a slight linen finish, but it is not that notable. They are quite stiff (in a good way) and really are nice decks of playing cards for the money! I would definitely recommend them for any game where you need dedicated matched decks (such as Shanghai Rummy), which is what I bought them for.

I bought this deck of cards for my dad, and we absolutely love it! The cards are really sturdy and laminated, so they won’t get damaged easily, even if we play often. I’m sure we’ll be able to use them for years.What I like the most is that the numbers on the cards are written very large. It’s super helpful, especially for people who have a hard time reading small print. It makes playing much easier and more enjoyable.On top of that, they look nice and are perfect for all types of games: Poker, War, or even made-up games. You can use them anywhere, at home or with friends.If you’re looking for a strong and well-made deck of cards, I definitely recommend this one. It’s a great purchase!

First of all, I have to laugh at myself. I usually read the description of a product l'm considering very carefully before deciding it's something I want to order. You can imagine my surprise when instead of the 2 decks I thought I ordered, I received a box of 12. However, I like these cards a lot so I'm not unhappy at my mistake. They are definitely not flimsy but easy to handle. Quality is great and I'm loving the large print. They shuffle well and fairly even with my crank shuffler machine and slide beautifully as they are being dealt out. I see longevity of use here in that I don't think these cards will get all wimpy and soiled as my old decks did. Good mistake.
