I ordered these for added protection for my home. they were recommended by a friend. I love that the camera quality is nice and clear. They system is very easy to use and navigate from one camera view to a a four camera view. I plan to order a few more.

Trying to narrow down to a specific time on the timeline is frustrating to say the least half the time the motion detected section misses whatever happened and you have to go to the time line and find it

Installed system myself and everything was good for a few months. Then I receive notification with no motion. Checked zone notification and the selection flipped zone selection. Tried too reset and could not. Called tech support and got someone on the line that was very hard to understand. Explained my problem more than once. We went through resetting all possible settings with no change to setting zones for notifications. Sent all information (model, serial numbers) and she was looking into the problem and would email me back. I received an email than call, they wanted to go through resetting again. I said that I was not willing to go through that again and it did not work, just need an answer to the problem. She put me on hold and the phone got disconnected. I called back two days later with the same results. She wanted to connected through my computer then to the system and I do not want to have her connect through my computer. If she can not understand what the problem is with myself constantly repeating it, how will she ever know how to fix the problem. I am left with a system notification turned off so that I do not get notifications with no movement on cameras. This is just a summary of the complexed problems with no fix. I sent three emails and 1 hour both time on the phone to get them to understand the problem.This all started when the Lorex system that I had for 5 years that worked fine. Then the DVR was over heating and the fan at full speed, it was very annoying. So, instead of buying a new DVR I bought a new system with the 4 cameras and just add them to have a total of 8 cameras. Like I said the new system worked fine for a few months. Just as a note the the new system will only record the four cameras and not the other four. I can see and monitor the other four but they will not record for later observation. The cameras and system is working good and of very good quality I just can not get notifications of any movement.Just to clear up for some of you that do not know, you have to go into the section for notification and click and drag zones for notifications and block out areas like tree, cars, bushes and other areas that will give your phone movement notification. You pick areas of sensitive with colors like red for less sensitive green for move sensitive and green for even more sensitive. When I try to click and drag it just stays all red or all green and some zones come up and stay orange that is not even a choice for sensitive.I tried to contact the company but you can only access through tech support. I need to get a technician that actually knows what I am trying to resolve. Like I said in the head line, I guess I am on my own to resolve this problem.
