I have big hands and found them a bit cumbersome to use. They do shred meat very well, but with my hands it would be nice if they were a bit longer as I find my hands too close to the meat.

My husband uses these after roasting our pork in the oven. He covers the pork with mustard (sometimes he skips this step so not necessary). Then he covers with seasoning, equal parts of salt + garlic + minced onion or onion powder. Sometimes he also adds equal parts paprika + cayenne pepper + black pepper. I think it tastes better that way, but my kids are more sensitive. Anyway we put that in the oven at 275° for 10 hours (restarting the oven after 5 hrs because it has a safety feature to turn off at some point). Then we let it rest for 1 hour before he quickly shreds it with this amazing product. Then we throw it into the dishwasher for quick cleaning.

We bought these for the pork shoulder we like to smoke on our Traeger. These are sturdy, sharp, they can pick up and hold heavy meat, and make shredding roast a snap. They feel good in our hands. I recommend them.
