Great set for anyone who wants to learn or just want extra tools. I like that it had a steel set, regular aluminum and tunzinian sets. And there was enough room in the case to store 2 more sets of crochet hooks and knitting needles.

It's actually a great product. Comes with a full set of ergonomic hooks in all of the most used sizes. Larger sizes are the same old metal hooks, and that's perfectly fine because I rarely use them. Lots of markers and gauge markers ... everything you'd need.However, not all of the ergonomic hooks are set properly. I have a pattern that calls for an H hook, and it had enough of a gap between the base of the hook and the handle that it's unusable. That last stitch gets stuck every time.Now, I know how to correct for that. I have UV epoxy. And honestly, I like the G hook better and the G is what I use most often, and that was totally fine. A couple of other sizes aren't set correctly either, but not as bad as the H hook. The others I would rarely use anyway.Sturdy case, nice amount of stitch markers and what-not. Seems to be a quality stitch gauge. Case is sturdy and seems to have been made well.

I loved this set. I was using the big all metal hook. All was great. I started a new project that used the I/5.5mm hook, that had the cushioned handle. That is when I found the problems. Only the hooks that I will rarely use (the smallest ones) are usable. Where the metal hook goes into the handle, most are not inserted far enough, which leaves an indent that catches the yarn causing it to catch and fray. So I had to buy another hook until I found the ever illussive previously bought hook. Now the case is great, and the extras are helpful, but quality control sucked.

I have crocheted for years and have a mish mash of crochet hooks in a tin canister. I thought this set was lovely and I don't have any hooks with the ergonomic handles. I love the cute little hippo hook and needle and test swatch gage. There are a number of accessories that come with it, but I had to laugh because whoever designed this set, doesn't appear to know the difference between knitting and crocheting. Several of the accessories are meant for knitting such as the end caps to keep your work on your knitting needles when you are not working on a project, stitch markers and stitch holders. That said, I am glad I purchased this set. It will get a lot of use.
