16 year old GE washer, kept shutting off. Guess it thought the door was open. Easy job. Just don't loose parts taking it apart. Maybe take a photo of the wiring, but its not brain surgery. Plunger has a spring.... watch it doesn't pop off when removing.

Works great. Make sure to take a video or pics so you know how to put it back together. I eventually needed to the plastic cover that holds it in. These parts break easy, so be careful. If your fixing it anyway, might as well get the plastic cover, spring and plunger for $10. The plastic cover is key! If the cover isn’t working or snapping 💯 then these little trigger boxes won’t work regardless of how new they are.

This was a perfect replacement for my GE dishwasher door switches. The switch buttons seemed to have worn just enough that the plunger didn't push them in enough to make contact. The machine did the every 30 second beep and acted crazy for a couple months until it finally gave up and wouldn't cycle or reset.While you're waiting for these to arrive, you can put the plastic panel up to close off the dishwasher and push the switches in manually to get a reset to finish so the stank water doesn't build up.

Needed switch that went bad in GE dishwasher, didn't know it came in two's switched out both old ones, replaced with these two new switches, dishwasher back to normal. Both switches fit right into brackets that hold them. Exact fit and items as described, I would buy again without hesitation and would recommend if you need to replace switches that went bad after several years of use.

These little switches are exactly what I needed to get my dishwasher to understand that no, the door really is closed, and get back to washing again. A very easy job to replace them, these work very well. Be sure to make sure the type and style match what’s in your machine though.

Worked perfectly to fix my GE dishwasher door close connection. I was getting three solid lights on the panel, discovered the door close switch wasn't working, ordered these, easy replacement and works perfectly! Better than paying a repairman $200.
