Range isn't the greatest as it is only a tiny antenna, but it works great at shorter distances (under half a mile) AND I receive well and come across loud and clear within that distance. And yes, I did tune the CB for the antenna

13 inch cb antenna is a compromise, but testing surprised me. I sweeped the antenna using a professional antenna analyzer and found that this antenna comes perfectly tuned at 27.050 Mhz, and has a return loss of -32 dB. The band pass measured from 26.8 to 27.5 Mhz at the -14 dB points. It won't give you great range due to the short element length. It is mostly all lodding coil, but ideal for trucking down the highways. Looks more like a cell antenna, but will not harm your rig. Not for hi power use, but hi power use is not legal anyway.
